WoW Forever Druid Abilities and Spells by Level
A Druid in WoW Forever learns 55 abilities between levels 1 and 60, and the class changes shape along the way. You start as a caster with Wrath and Healing Touch, earn Bear Form at 10, Aquatic Form at 16 and Cat Form at 20 through class quests, and buy Travel Form from the trainer at 30. Forever moves several Feral attacks earlier: Shred comes at 20 instead of 22 and Ferocious Bite at 24 instead of 32. It also adds three trainer spells Classic never had, the out-of-combat resurrection Revive at 12, the energy saver Poised at 32, and Omen of Clarity and Nature's Grasp without spending a talent point.
Set your level in the planner below: it hides what you already know and shows what you learn at that level and at the next visits. Under it, the same data is written out level by level: every new Druid ability and every stronger rank from 1 to 60, the key abilities and when you get them, what changed against Classic, the spells that come from talents, and the full Druid spell list for each specialization.
WoW Forever Druid Abilities by Level
A Druid in WoW Forever has 55 abilities with trainer ranks: 51 arrive as new spells, and 4 start with a talent point before the trainer sells the higher ranks. The trainer has something for you on 30 levels: level 1, then every even level from 4 to 60, so plan a visit every two levels. The tables below split the 1 to 60 journey into six steps; the first column is the level, the second the abilities you learn for the first time, the third the new ranks with their rank number. Abilities marked (quest) come from a class quest rather than the trainer.

When Do Druids Get Their Key Abilities
Most players ask about the forms first, since each one changes how you level. The table lists every form and the other abilities that change how a Druid plays, with the level you can get each one.
| Ability | Level | Specialization | How you get it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bear Form | 10 | Feral Combat | Class quest at 10 |

| Rebirth | 20 | Restoration | Class trainer |
| Travel Form | 30 | Feral Combat | Class trainer |
| Tranquility | 30 | Restoration | Class trainer |

| Innervate | 40 | Restoration | Class trainer |
What Changed for Druid Abilities in WoW Forever
Forever keeps the Classic Druid toolkit but reshuffles when you get it. The biggest change is for Feral: two of the main Cat attacks come earlier, and Omen of Clarity and Nature's Grasp are now trainer spells, which frees two Balance talent points. Barkskin costs nothing and works in every form, and Rebirth, Innervate, Remove Curse and Abolish Poison can be cast in Moonkin Form.
These 6 abilities moved the most: they are new in Forever, come earlier than in Classic, no longer need a talent, or have a new name.
| Ability | Level | Change against Classic |
|---|---|---|
| Nature's Grasp | 10 | A Balance talent in Classic; trained without one now |
| Revive | 12 | Not in Classic; Season of Discovery had a spell by this name |
| Omen of Clarity | 20 | A Balance talent in Classic; trained without one now |
| Shred | 20 | Rank 1 trained earlier than in Classic |
| Ferocious Bite | 24 | Ranks 1 to 5 trained earlier than in Classic; Rank 6 new (Classic stops at rank 5) |
| Poised | 32 | Not in Classic |
Another 31 Druid spells keep their level but have new numbers: damage, healing, cost, cooldown or spell power scaling. Hover a spell in the planner above to see what changed for that exact rank.
Druid Abilities Removed in WoW Forever
Classic trainers taught these, the Forever trainer does not:
- Faerie Fire (Feral) (Rank 4), level 54 in Classic
Druid Abilities That Come From Talents
Some Druid abilities start as a talent. You put the point into the talent tree to get the first rank, and after that the trainer sells the higher ranks like any other spell. Others stay talent-only and the trainer never teaches them. The earliest level is when you can reach that row of the tree with every point in it.
| Ability | Talent tree | Ranks from the trainer |
|---|---|---|
| Insect Swarm | Balance | Rank 2 at 30, Rank 3 at 40, Rank 4 at 50, Rank 5 at 60 |
| Lacerate | Feral Combat | Rank 2 at 34, Rank 3 at 42, Rank 4 at 50, Rank 5 at 58 |
| Primal Bite | Feral Combat | Rank 2 at 50, Rank 3 at 60 |
| Wild Growth | Restoration | Rank 2 at 50, Rank 3 at 60 |
| Feral Charge | Feral Combat | Talent only, from level 20 |
| Swiftmend | Restoration | Talent only, from level 25 |
| Nature's Swiftness | Restoration | Talent only, from level 30 |
| Moonkin Form | Balance | Talent only, from level 40 |
You can plan these points in our WoW Forever Druid talents guide, which explains every tree and the builds for leveling, dungeons and PvP.

Druid Trainer Tips for Leveling
A few things save Druids gold and time at the trainer:
- Train Swipe and Maul ranks as soon as they appear if you tank dungeons: Bear threat lives on them.
- Cat Form at 20 is a class quest in Forever, so start it as soon as you hit 20; Shred the same level and Ferocious Bite at 24 both come earlier than in Classic.
- Revive at 12 means you no longer wait for Rebirth to bring back a dead party member between fights.
- Skip the higher ranks of Hibernate and Soothe Animal until you actually use them; they only matter for crowd control and stealth runs.
- Save gold for level 40 and level 60, the two biggest visits of the class.

WoW Forever Druid Abilities FAQ
These are the questions players ask most about when Druids learn their spells.
What level do Druids get Cat Form in WoW Forever?
Druids learn Cat Form at level 20 in WoW Forever from a class quest. In Forever it comes from a class quest, "The Great Cat Spirit", instead of the trainer, and the quest also teaches Prowl, Claw, Shred and Rip.
What level do Druids get Bear Form in WoW Forever?
Druids learn Bear Form at level 10 in WoW Forever from a class quest. It comes from a class quest, "Body and Heart", and teaches Maul, Growl and Demoralizing Roar with it.
What level do Druids get Travel Form in WoW Forever?
Druids learn Travel Form at level 30 in WoW Forever from the class trainer.
What level do Druids get Aquatic Form in WoW Forever?
Druids learn Aquatic Form at level 16 in WoW Forever from a class quest. It is the reward of a class quest chain that ends with the "Aquatic Form" quest.
What level do Druids get Swipe in WoW Forever?
Druids learn Swipe at level 16 in WoW Forever from the class trainer.
What level do Druids get Moonkin Form in WoW Forever?
Moonkin Form is a Balance talent, so the trainer never teaches it. With every point in Balance you can take it at level 40.
What level do Druids get Dire Bear Form in WoW Forever?
Druids learn Dire Bear Form at level 40 in WoW Forever from the class trainer. It replaces Bear Form and adds more armor, health and attack power.
What level do Druids get Revive in WoW Forever?
Druids learn Revive at level 12 in WoW Forever from the class trainer. It is new in Forever and works like a Paladin or Priest resurrection: out of combat only, unlike Rebirth, which you get at 20 and can cast mid-fight.
How often should a Druid visit the class trainer in WoW Forever?
Every two levels. Between 1 and 60 a Druid has something new to train on 30 levels: level 1, then every even level from 4 to 60, so a trip at 4, 6, 8 and so on never misses a rank.
What abilities are new for Druids in WoW Forever?
Nature's Grasp, Revive, Omen of Clarity, Shred, Ferocious Bite and Poised are new, come earlier than in Classic or no longer need a talent. The table in the changes section above says what moved for each one.
Do Druids get Tree of Life Form in WoW Forever?
No. Tree of Life is not a Druid talent or trainer spell in WoW Forever. Restoration gets Wild Growth from a talent at level 40 instead.
