The Azeroth Commerce Authority is the Alliance trade faction of WoW Forever, and it sells the recipes most crafters will want while leveling: armor sets for every role, necklace and bracer enchants, smoothies, bombs, goggles and gliders, plus a mount and a pet. Its camp sits at Three Corners on the western edge of Redridge Mountains, and its Horde mirror, Durotar Supply and Logistics, sells the same recipes outside the Crossroads.
Two things decide what you can buy there. Merchant's Favor pays for every item, and you earn it by filling Waylaid Crates with materials and handing them in. Reputation unlocks the better half of the catalog, and it comes almost entirely from Craftsman's Writs, crafting orders you deliver to customers across Azeroth. Most players notice the first currency and miss the second, then find that Honored recipes stay locked no matter how much Favor they carry.
Below you will find the camp and every vendor in it, how each crate tier pays out and the cheapest way to fill them, how to push reputation with writs, every recipe with its skill and reputation requirement, the mount, pet, toy and title rewards, and the questions players ask most.
Here are the key facts in one table.

The Alliance camp is at Three Corners, the road junction on the western edge of Redridge Mountains where the road from Elwynn Forest enters the zone, at /way #44 10.5, 72.7. From Stormwind City, ride east through Goldshire and keep following the road into Redridge. Players from Ironforge can take the Deeprun Tram to Stormwind, and the boat from Darkshore now docks in Stormwind Harbor as well.
Redridge is a contested zone, so on PvP realms Horde players can reach the camp, while the Horde camp outside the Crossroads in The Barrens (/way #17 42, 34) sits in Horde territory. Both camps sell the same recipes and rewards for the same Merchant's Favor prices.
Everything in the camp stands within a few steps of the road, so one visit is enough to hand in crates, check several recipe lists and buy a reward. The table lists each NPC with what they do and their coordinates.
| Role | NPC | Coordinates |
|---|---|---|
| Crate turn-ins | Marcy Baker | /way #44 9.6, 70.9 |
| Mount, pet, toy and tabard | Tamelyn Aldridge | /way #44 10.6, 71.3 |
| Pack Kodo | Huey Sunnydale | /way #44 8.5, 72.1 |
| Uncertified Scribe, opens at Friendly | Dianne Softstep | /way #44 9.1, 76.5 |
| Auction House | Auctioneer Quickcoin | /way #44 9.7, 72.0 |
| Enchanting recipes | Alynsia | /way #44 11.2, 71.6 |
| Alchemy recipes | Nina Surefire | /way #44 11.0, 72.3 |
| Cooking recipes | Kalsey Sanden | /way #44 10.8, 72.7 |

| Blacksmithing recipes | Stondry Darkhammer | /way #44 10.4, 74.7 |

| Leatherworking recipes | Daniel Stitchsong | /way #44 10.0, 72.9 |
Auctioneer Quickcoin is a goblin from Booty Bay, and on the beta his auction house behaves like the neutral one rather than the Alliance city market. Players also report that the spot rotates between the auctioneer, a banker and a mailbox, so bring your crates and materials with you instead of planning to mail them to the camp.
The faction runs on two separate tracks. Merchant's Favor is a currency: you earn it from crates and spend it at the vendors, and every recipe, the mount and the tabard have a Favor price. Reputation is your standing with the Azeroth Commerce Authority: it is never spent, it only unlocks what you are allowed to buy.
The catch is that crate turn-ins pay Favor but no reputation, and writs pay reputation but no Favor. A crafter who only fills crates ends up rich in Favor and stuck at Neutral, unable to buy any recipe marked Friendly or Honored. Plan both from the start.
The price tells you the gate. Recipes costing 30 or 45 Favor need no reputation, those at 60 or 120 Favor mostly need Friendly, and those at 90, 180 and above mostly need Honored. The collectibles climb further, as the table shows.
| Standing | What it unlocks |
|---|---|
| Neutral | All 30 and 45 Favor recipes |
| Friendly | Most mid-level recipes, the Uncertified Scribe and the Forged Delivery Receipt |
| Honored | The top recipes for every profession, the Advertising License Application and the Forger's Quill |
| Revered | Packmule Treat, which teaches the Minimule pet |
| Exalted | Azeroth Commerce Authority Tabard and Reins of the Pack Kodo |
Waylaid Crates are random world drops: any mob can drop one, at a low rate, and there is no spot where they drop more often. Most players buy them on the Auction House instead, where a search for "Waylaid" lists every type. Crates are not soulbound until you fill them, so you can also mail spare ones to the character who needs the Favor.
Turning one in takes four steps.
Your first filled crate or first writ also gives you a Shipping Label. Deliver it to the camp for 50 Merchant's Favor, 2,000 reputation and 660 experience, which is the biggest single reputation reward in the system.
Every tier comes in two colors. White crates take raw materials (Textiles, Ore, Herbs and Curiosities), green crates take crafted ones (Fabrics, Ingots and Parts) and pay twice as much Favor.
| Tier | Opens at level | White crate (raw) | Green crate (crafted) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apprentice | 10 | 5 | 10 |
| Journeyman | 10 | 10 | 20 |
| Expert | 20 | 15 | 30 |
| Artisan | 35 | Not confirmed yet | Not confirmed yet |
Each tier has the same seven crate types, except that Expert and Artisan split Herbs into Earthly and Flowering versions. Every crate lists two to five bundles of the same material family, so check your bank before buying anything: a miner with spare ore or an enchanter with old essences can fill some crates for free.
Since crates are easy to buy, the real question is how much gold one Favor costs you. Add the crate price to the cost of the cheapest bundle that fills it, then divide by the Favor it pays. Whatever the Auction House prices are on your realm, that number tells you which crate to buy.
On the beta Auction House the clear winner was the Waylaid Crate: Journeyman Parts. It costs around 10 silver and takes 4 Bronze Framework: bought from other players that comes to roughly 6 silver per Favor, and crafted yourself it drops to about 2.8 silver per Favor for 20 Favor per crate. Enchanters have a second cheap option in the Waylaid Crate: Apprentice Curiosities, which takes just 4 Greater Magic Essence, an essence that piled up in banks once crafted wands started selling to vendors for 1 copper.
Two habits pay off later. Keep any Waylaid Crate: Apprentice Fabrics you loot instead of selling it, since 20 Bolt of Linen Cloth gets cheaper every week as the server levels past linen. And skip Expert crates for now: on the beta they paid less Favor per gold than green Journeyman crates while costing far more to fill.
If you would rather skip the crate grind entirely, our WoW Forever Merchant's Favor farming service delivers the currency to your character.
The Professions Legacy tree has a perk called Performance Bonus. Each of its three ranks adds a 5% chance, up to 15%, that a crate turn-in pays double Merchant's Favor. At the full 15% that works out to about 13% fewer crates, so it is worth the points and a respec mainly when you are saving for something large like the 6,000 Favor Pack Kodo or several full recipe lists at once. For a few hundred Favor, other perks give more.
Our WoW Forever Legacy Points guide explains how many points you can spend and what else the Professions tree offers.
Craftsman's Writs are crafting orders from customers spread across Azeroth. They drop in the open world as Sealed Journeyman's Writ, Sealed Expert's Writ and Sealed Artisan's Writ envelopes and also sell on the Auction House. Opening an envelope reveals a specific order, such as Craftsman's Writ: Lesser Wizard's Robe. Writs cover Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Engineering, Leatherworking and Tailoring items, but you do not need the profession yourself: buying the requested item on the Auction House works just as well.
Completing one works like any delivery quest.
The reputation depends on the writ tier, and each delivery also returns a Coin Pouch with some silver.
| Craftsman's Writ | Reputation | Rule |
|---|---|---|
| Sealed Journeyman's Writ | 75 | Each distinct order once per day |
| Sealed Expert's Writ | 125 | Each distinct order once per day |
| Sealed Artisan's Writ | 200 | Each distinct order once per day |
The daily limit applies to each order, not to writs in general. You can deliver as many different writs per day as you like, but buying five copies of the same order only lets you hand in one of them today. Some writs also carry a timer, so check it before you commit to a long trip.
The faction uses the standard WoW reputation thresholds. The Shipping Label covers most of Neutral, after which the numbers grow quickly.
| Step | Reputation needed | Journeyman writs | Expert writs | Artisan writs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Neutral to Friendly | 3,000 (1,000 after the Shipping Label) | 14 | 8 | 5 |
| Friendly to Honored | 6,000 | 80 | 48 | 30 |
| Honored to Revered | 12,000 | 160 | 96 | 60 |
| Revered to Exalted | 21,000 | 280 | 168 | 105 |
Friendly comes quickly. Honored is a project spread over days because of the daily limit on each order, and Exalted for the tabard and Pack Kodo is a long-term goal. The Diplomat perk in the Resourcefulness Legacy tree increases reputation gains if you plan to go all the way.
A few habits make the grind noticeably cheaper.
At Friendly you can use the Uncertified Scribe, Dianne Softstep, at /way #44 9.1, 76.5. She sells two items, each for 15 Merchant's Favor, and they convert spare Favor into reputation or better writs.
| Item | Cost | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Forged Delivery Receipt | 15 Merchant's Favor | Turns any empty Waylaid Crate into a Notarized Shipping Container worth 50 reputation when handed to Marcy Baker |
| Forger's Quill | 15 Merchant's Favor | Requires Honored. Rewrites an unwanted Craftsman's Writ into a random writ of the same tier |
The receipt works on any Waylaid Crate, so buy the cheapest one on the Auction House. It is slower than writs, but it has no daily limit and no travel, which makes it a useful way to spend Favor you have no recipe for.
For players who want the Honored recipes without weeks of deliveries, our WoW Forever Azeroth Commerce Authority reputation boost takes the faction to the standing you need.
Each of the seven vendors sells recipes for one profession. Every table shows the profession skill needed to learn the recipe, the reputation needed to buy it and the price in Merchant's Favor (the Favor column), sorted by skill. Rows that share a skill, reputation and price are grouped into one cell.
Crafted armor and weapons from these recipes bind on pickup, so they are made for your own character rather than for the Auction House. The certification at the bottom of each table is covered in the titles section further down.
These four vendors sell consumables, enchants, caster weapons, relics and gadgets. The cheap early recipes are open to everyone, while the necklace enchants, greater elixirs and engineering gadgets wait behind Friendly or Honored.

Beyond recipes, the faction sells four collectibles. Tamelyn Aldridge handles the pet, toy and tabard, while Huey Sunnydale sells the mount at the edge of the camp. All of them need reputation on top of the Favor price.
| Reward | Type | Requirement | Merchant's Favor | Vendor |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Reins of the Pack Kodo | Account-wide mount | Exalted, level 60, Journeyman Riding | 6,000 | Huey Sunnydale, /way #44 8.5, 72.1 |
| Packmule Treat | Teaches the Minimule pet | Revered | 1,500 | Tamelyn Aldridge, /way #44 10.6, 71.3 |

Once a profession reaches 300 skill, its vendor sells a certification for 1,000 Merchant's Favor. Using it unlocks the matching title for every character on your account, though each character needs 300 skill in that profession to display it. Cooking has no certification.
| Profession | Certification (1,000 Merchant's Favor) | Title |
|---|---|---|
| Alchemy | Alchemy Certification | the Alchemist |
| Blacksmithing | Blacksmithing Certification | the Blacksmith |
| Enchanting | Enchanting Certification | the Enchanter |
| Engineering | Engineering Certification | the Engineer |
| Leatherworking | Leatherworking Certification | the Leatherworker |
| Tailoring | Tailoring Certification | the Tailor |
These are the habits that separate a smooth faction grind from a Favor-starved one.
Quick answers to the questions players ask most about the faction.
The camp is at Three Corners on the western edge of Redridge Mountains, /way #44 10.5, 72.7, where the road from Elwynn Forest enters the zone.
Durotar Supply and Logistics, with its camp just west of the Crossroads in The Barrens at /way #17 42, 34. It sells the same recipes and rewards.
Fill Waylaid Crates with one of the material bundles they list and hand them to Marcy Baker at the camp. Crates drop from any mob at a low rate and are easy to buy on the Auction House.
White crates pay 5, 10 and 15 Favor for Apprentice, Journeyman and Expert. Green crates pay double: 10, 20 and 30. Artisan values are not confirmed yet.
Deliver Craftsman's Writs: 75 reputation for Journeyman, 125 for Expert and 200 for Artisan writs, each distinct order once per day. The first Shipping Label adds 2,000 once, and at Friendly the Forged Delivery Receipt turns empty crates into 50 reputation each.
No. Filled crates give Merchant's Favor and a little silver only. The one exception is the Shipping Label from your first crate or writ.
Recipes costing 30 or 45 Favor need none. Recipes at 60 or 120 Favor mostly need Friendly, and those at 90, 180 and above, including every 240 to 360 Favor recipe, mostly need Honored.
Reach Exalted with the Azeroth Commerce Authority, reach level 60 with Journeyman Riding, then buy the Reins of the Pack Kodo from Huey Sunnydale for 6,000 Merchant's Favor. The mount is account-wide.
At 300 skill, buy your profession's certification for 1,000 Merchant's Favor. The title unlocks for your whole account, and any character with 300 skill in that profession can display it.
Yes, Auctioneer Quickcoin at /way #44 9.7, 72.0 runs a Booty Bay auction house. On the beta the spot sometimes shows a banker or mailbox instead.
These guides pair well with the faction grind.
