Hyjal Summit stands as one of three raids set to open for players on December 9, 2026, and it is one of two that are entirely new to World of Warcraft. While Beta participants still can't enter the raid to examine it in full, we already have certain details worth passing along. In the summary below, you'll find the backstory behind the Hyjal Summit raid, where it's located, and which bosses are currently confirmed.
Keep in mind that this article will be updated as fresh details surface.
Much like the other new WoW Forever raid, Hyjal Summit is connected to the Mount Hyjal zone and, unlike the raid from the TBC era, doesn't send players back in time to one of the most epic moments in the Warcraft series. Instead, it tells the story of what happened to the zone after the victory over Archimonde. According to the plot, the power of Hyjal Summit is waning, so the heroes of Azeroth must visit it once again and figure out who is behind these events — and, in return, earn powerful gear, including new class sets, which you can learn about in our separate WoW Forever Tier Sets guide.
It is already established that the Hyjal Summit raid will be located on the mountain of the same name, and in the Mount Hyjal zone players will be able to find the entrance to this 20-player adventure — but without any specific details. Once detailed information is released to the public, we'll compile all the entrances along with their coordinates.
At present it remains unclear whether WoW Forever will demand special access to unlock Hyjal Summit. Still, considering the developers' emphasis on questing and world exploration, an attunement is almost certainly to be expected. We'll revise our article the moment new information becomes available.
No official boss list has been provided by the developers so far. Nevertheless, dataminers and enthusiasts have uncovered an unconfirmed yet preliminary roster of encounters within the raid:
The moment further information surfaces, we'll verify and polish the list, and build out the current article with in-depth tactical advice and loot from every boss.
We trust our article proved helpful to you. Don't forget to explore the developers' plans for the game in our WoW Forever Roadmap, and make sure to look into the other raids that will be available starting December 9, 2026.
