Class tier sets are back with WoW Forever, and the armor for every class can already be studied from front to back, long before the first raid group forms. That makes now a good time to pick a favorite.
Each set comes in more than one color, both character model settings get a version of their own, and the raid behind the whole collection already has a date on the calendar. Every set is laid out below, class by class.
WoW Forever has new raid tier sets for all nine classes, and every one of them is tied to Hyjal Summit, the 20-player raid on Mount Hyjal. Several of these sets already appeared at BlizzCon as Hyjal Summit gear.
Hyjal Summit opens on December 9, 2026. That is five weeks after WoW Forever launches on November 4, and Blizzard names the raid alongside the 10-player Barrow Deeps as the home of new tier sets and a legendary reward.
Every class set comes in four colors. Forever lets each player pick High-Definition (HD) or Standard-Definition (SD) character models, and every set has an SD version too — a model with a slightly lower poly count that follows the HD design closely.
The clearest gap between the two is on the Warrior: its SD model wears a red cape that the matching HD version leaves off.
Hyjal Summit is one of three raids that open on December 9, and our WoW Forever overview lists all of them with their group sizes. The same page also walks through the major updates planned after launch, along with the transmog rules, which treat raid epics differently from dungeon drops.
WoW Forever OverviewAntlers crown the Druid helm, and a mantle of leaf-feathers spreads out under round, gem-set pauldrons. Green and gold is the base look; the ice blue recolor strays furthest from the nature theme.
A beast skull rides on one shoulder of the Hunter set, with a spiked plate on the other. It pairs a scaled chest with a pointy-eared fur hood, and the dark brown recolor is the one version that skips the cape.
Glowing orbs stud the rune-stitched robes of the Mage set, topped by a skullcap with a tall pointed collar. From behind, the robe ends in one long spade-shaped cape.
Wings rise from the Paladin helm and fan out again across the layered pauldrons. The gold and white base goes without a cape, while all three recolors add one.
A pale mask fills the hood of the Priest set. Its sunburst pauldrons carry a skull on one side and a gem on the other, and the red and gold recolor is the warmest take on the design.
A cloth mask covers the lower face on the Rogue set, while the heavy pauldrons are lined with glowing vials and blade spikes. The long coat falls into a cape, and the mask changes color with each recolor.
A wolf head forms the Shaman helm, while fur and bone spikes pile up high across the shoulders, framing a carved medallion on each side. For what it's worth, this is our pick of the nine.
Glowing crystals wrapped in chains crown the hood of the Warlock set, and more chains hang across the robe. Horned pauldrons hold crystals of their own, and the glow changes color between versions.
Horns rise from the Warrior helm and pauldrons, with fur trim running along the plate. The HD base version is the only one without a cape: its SD model and all three recolors wear one.
