The Priest tier set is the raid armor WoW Forever adds for the class, a new design rather than a returning Classic set. Healers and Shadow Priests wear the same robes but get different bonuses, so the spec you play decides which version is worth the chase.
The colors come first, then the bonuses for each spec. After that come the routes to the pieces — and the raid is only one of them.
Priests get two tier sets with the same six slots and the same look. Vestments of Conviction is the Discipline and Holy set and Raiments of Conviction belongs to Shadow; each hands out its bonuses at two, three, four and five equipped pieces. Five is the cap.
Every slot of both sets has a raid version, and four of them (shoulders, gloves, legs and boots) also have a version a tailor can make. Both count toward the same bonuses. The catch is a limit on how many crafted pieces a Priest can wear at once.
Blizzard names Hyjal Summit, a 20-player raid, and the Barrow Deeps, a 10-player one, as the home of the new tier sets, and both open on December 9, 2026. The raid pieces are item level 65 cloth, Priest-only and Bind on Pickup (BoP), and they need level 60.
| Slot | Discipline and Holy piece | Shadow piece | Armor |
|---|---|---|---|
| Head | Halo of Conviction | Crown of Conviction | 81 |
| Shoulder | Pauldrons of Conviction | Mantle of Conviction | 75 |
| Chest | Robes of Conviction | Garb of Conviction | 100 |
| Hands | Handguards of Conviction | Gloves of Conviction | 63 |
| Legs | Leggings of Conviction | Pants of Conviction | 88 |
| Feet | Boots of Conviction | Treads of Conviction | 69 |
These tooltips show item level and armor but no stats: Forever hides an item's stats until it drops for someone on your realm. Its raids also open without a dungeon journal, so the boss behind each slot is found inside the raid itself.
The crafted versions are item level 61 instead of 65 and Bind on Equip (BoE), so a Priest without the profession can get one from a tailor.
| Slot | Discipline and Holy piece | Shadow piece | Armor |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shoulder | Pauldrons of Conviction | Mantle of Conviction | 71 |
| Hands | Handguards of Conviction | Gloves of Conviction | 59 |
| Legs | Leggings of Conviction | Pants of Conviction | 83 |
| Feet | Boots of Conviction | Treads of Conviction | 65 |
Each craft needs Malleable Essence of Nature, which comes from disenchanting items from Hyjal Summit or the Barrow Deeps.
The crafts also need a Loom, a Tailoring 300 camp object placed next to a campfire, which gives the camp the benefits of a Faction Banner as well. A tailor learns to place it from Blueprint: Loom, one of the Blueprints that drop from dungeon bosses, and our WoW Forever professions guide covers how camps work.
Every crafted piece is Unique-Equipped: Artisan's Tier (1), so a Priest can wear only one of them at a time, whatever the slot. The Rousing Seed Pod raises the limit to two; it costs 10 gold and needs level 60 plus Revered with the Guardians of Hyjal.
That limit shapes the whole set. Before the Seed Pod, a 5-piece bonus takes at least four raid pieces plus one crafted piece; after it, three raid pieces and two crafted ones are enough, and the two crafted pieces alone already give the 2-piece bonus. Either way, the head and the chest come from the raid, because neither slot has a crafted version.
For what it's worth, the cheapest crafted piece to start with is any slot but the legs.
Gloves, shoulders or boots cost 9 Essence the first time (6 for the pattern, 3 for the craft), and the first leg piece costs 13. Once a pattern is learned, every further craft from it costs only the 3 or 5 Essence in the recipe.
Both vendors stand in Mount Hyjal, below the Summit of Eternity. Aisarra Nightmeadow (71, 51.2) sells all eight Priest patterns for Malleable Essence of Nature, and Rhylin Stonethorn (70.6, 51.2), a few steps away, sells the Rousing Seed Pod. The patterns need Tailoring 300 and bind to the tailor who buys them. No reputation needed, unlike the Seed Pod.

Both spells on the healers' 5-piece are talents, and Devouring Plague has a talent of its own in Forever that jumps it to a new enemy when the target dies. Our talents guide walks through Penance, Prayer of Mending and that Devouring Plague talent, along with the rest of the Discipline, Holy and Shadow trees.
