WoW Forever Paladin Tier Set Guide

Updated 07 Oct 2026 | Author: Dmitro | ~6 min

The Paladin tier set is the raid armor WoW Forever adds for the class, a new design rather than a returning Classic set. Holy, Protection and Retribution each get a version of their own, so the spec you play decides which bonuses you chase.

The colors come first, then the bonuses for each spec. After that come the routes to the pieces — and the raid is only one of them.

WoW Forever Paladin Tier Set Appearance and Bonuses

Paladins get three tier sets with the same six slots and the same look. Justice Armor is the Holy set and Justice Battleplate belongs to Protection, while Retribution wears Justice Battlegear; each hands out its bonuses at two, three, four and five equipped pieces. Five is the cap.

Holy

  • 2 Pieces: Increased Spirit +10
  • 3 Pieces: Reduces the cooldown of your Blessing of Protection spell by 30 sec.
  • 4 Pieces: Increases healing done by up to 26 and damage done by up to 9 for all magical spells and effects.
  • 5 Pieces: Reduces the cooldown of your Holy Shock spell by 1 sec.

Protection

  • 2 Pieces: Increased Defense +7
  • 3 Pieces: Reduces the cast time on your Turn Undead spell by 1.5 sec.
  • 4 Pieces: Reduces the chance for your melee attacks to be Dodged or Parried by 1.2%.
  • 5 Pieces: Reduces the duration of Forbearance any time you gain it by 10.0 sec.

Retribution

  • 2 Pieces: Increases your attack speed and casting speed by 1%.
  • 3 Pieces: Reduces the cooldown of your Hammer of Justice spell by 5 sec.
  • 4 Pieces: +36 Attack Power against Undead.
  • 5 Pieces: Reduces the cooldown of your Judgement spell by 0.5 sec.

How to Get the WoW Forever Paladin Tier Set

Every slot of all three sets has a raid version, and four of them (shoulders, gloves, legs and boots) also have a version a blacksmith can make. Both count toward the same bonuses. The catch is a limit on how many crafted pieces a Paladin can wear at once.

Blizzard names Hyjal Summit, a 20-player raid, and the Barrow Deeps, a 10-player one, as the home of the new tier sets, and both open on December 9, 2026. The raid pieces are item level 65 plate, Paladin-only and Bind on Pickup (BoP), and they need level 60.

These tooltips show item level and armor but no stats: Forever hides an item's stats until it drops for someone on your realm. Its raids also open without a dungeon journal, so the boss behind each slot is found inside the raid itself.

Crafted Paladin Tier Pieces from Blacksmithing

The crafted versions are item level 61 instead of 65 and Bind on Equip (BoE), so a Paladin without the profession can get one from a blacksmith.

Every craft runs on Malleable Essence of Nature, which comes from disenchanting items from Hyjal Summit or the Barrow Deeps.

The crafts also need a Master Forge, a Blacksmithing 300 camp object placed next to a campfire, which gives the camp the benefits of a Sharpening Wheel as well. A blacksmith learns to place it from Blueprint: Master Forge, one of the Blueprints that drop from dungeon bosses, and our WoW Forever professions guide covers how camps work.

Blacksmithing 300 is the gate for every crafted piece, from the plans to the Master Forge itself. If leveling the profession is the step that does not fit your schedule, a WoW Forever professions boost is an alternative path to that skill.

Artisan's Tier: How Many Crafted Pieces a Paladin Can Wear

Every crafted piece is Unique-Equipped: Artisan's Tier (1), so a Paladin can wear only one of them at a time, whatever the slot. The Rousing Seed Pod raises the limit to two; it costs 10 gold and needs level 60 plus Revered with the Guardians of Hyjal.

That limit shapes the whole set. Before the Seed Pod, a 5-piece bonus takes at least four raid pieces plus one crafted piece; after it, three raid pieces and two crafted ones are enough, and the two crafted pieces alone already give the 2-piece bonus. Either way, the head and the chest come from the raid, because neither slot has a crafted version.

For what it's worth, the cheapest crafted piece to start with is any slot but the legs.

Gloves, shoulders or boots cost 9 Essence the first time (6 for the plan, 3 for the craft), and the first leg piece costs 13. Once a plan is learned, every further craft from it costs only the 3 or 5 Essence in the recipe.

Paladin Tier Set Vendors in Mount Hyjal

Both vendors stand in Mount Hyjal, below the Summit of Eternity. Aisarra Nightmeadow (71, 51.2) sells all twelve Paladin plans for Malleable Essence of Nature, and Rhylin Stonethorn (70.6, 51.2), a few steps away, sells the Rousing Seed Pod. The plans need Blacksmithing 300 and bind to the blacksmith who buys them. No reputation needed, unlike the Seed Pod.

Paladin Talents and Tier Sets for Other Classes

Talents trim three of the bonus spells. In the Retribution tree, Improved Judgement trims Judgement; in Protection, Improved Hammer of Justice and Guardian's Favor trim Hammer of Justice and Blessing of Protection. Our talents guide walks through all three, along with Templar's Bulwark and the rest of the Holy, Protection and Retribution trees.

For an alt, the tier set overview shows the set of every class in all four colors, with its SD version.
