The Shaman tier set is the raid armor WoW Forever adds for the class, with a new design and bonuses matched to your role. Elemental, Enhancement and Restoration have versions of their own, so the spec you play decides which bonuses you chase.
The colors come first, then the bonuses for each spec. After that come the routes to the pieces — and there is more than one.
Shamans get three tier sets with the same six slots and the same raid look. The Spiritcaller's Storm is Elemental, The Spiritcaller's Rage is Enhancement and The Spiritcaller is Restoration; the bonuses arrive at two, three, four and five equipped pieces. Five is the cap.
The three sets have raid pieces for all six slots, while shoulders, gloves, legs and boots also have versions made with Leatherworking; the raid and crafted pieces count toward their spec's set bonuses. Crafted pieces have an equip limit.
Hyjal Summit, a 20-player raid, and the Barrow Deeps, a 10-player one, are home to the new tier sets; both open on December 9, 2026. The raid pieces are item level 65 mail, restricted to Shamans and Bind on Pickup (BoP), and they need level 60.
| Slot | Elemental piece | Enhancement piece | Restoration piece | Armor |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Head | Spiritcaller Headdress | Spiritcaller Crown | Spiritcaller Helmet | 338 |
| Shoulder | Spiritcaller Mantle | Spiritcaller Spaulders | Spiritcaller Epaulets | 312 |
| Chest | Spiritcaller Embrace | Spiritcaller Armor | Spiritcaller Breastplate | 416 |
| Hands | Spiritcaller Gloves | Spiritcaller Grips | Spiritcaller Gauntlets | 260 |
| Legs | Spiritcaller Kilt | Spiritcaller Leggings | Spiritcaller Pants | 364 |
| Feet | Spiritcaller Boots | Spiritcaller Treads | Spiritcaller Greaves | 286 |
These tooltips show item level and armor but no stats: Forever hides an item's stats until it drops for someone on your realm. Its raids also open without a dungeon journal.
The crafted versions are item level 61 instead of 65 and Bind on Equip (BoE), so a Shaman without the profession can get one from a leatherworker. They still need level 60.
| Slot | Elemental piece | Enhancement piece | Restoration piece | Armor |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shoulder | Spiritcaller Mantle | Spiritcaller Spaulders | Spiritcaller Epaulets | 294 |
| Hands | Spiritcaller Gloves | Spiritcaller Grips | Spiritcaller Gauntlets | 245 |
| Legs | Spiritcaller Kilt | Spiritcaller Leggings | Spiritcaller Pants | 344 |
| Feet | Spiritcaller Boots | Spiritcaller Treads | Spiritcaller Greaves | 270 |
The crafts use Malleable Essence of Nature, which comes from disenchanting items from Hyjal Summit or the Barrow Deeps.
The crafts also need a Sewing Machine, a Leatherworking 300 camp object placed next to a campfire, which gives the camp the benefits of a Camp Tent as well. A leatherworker learns to place it from Blueprint: Sewing Machine, one of the Blueprints that drop from dungeon bosses, and our WoW Forever professions guide covers how camps work.
The crafted pieces are Unique-Equipped: Artisan's Tier (1), so one can be worn at a time, whatever its slot. The limit rises to two with the Rousing Seed Pod, a 10-gold item that needs level 60 and Revered with the Guardians of Hyjal.
To reach a 5-piece bonus with crafted gear, pair four raid pieces with one crafted piece before the Seed Pod, or three raid pieces with two crafted pieces after using it. Two crafted pieces from the same spec grant the 2-piece bonus on their own.
Either way, the head and chest pieces come from the raid; neither slot has a crafted version.
Once its pattern's purchase requirements are met, a non-leg craft costs less Essence than a leg craft.
Buying a glove, shoulder or boot pattern and completing one craft costs 9 Essence in all (6 for the pattern, 3 for the craft); the leg pattern plus one craft costs 13. After the pattern is learned, further crafts use the recipe's 3 or 5 Essence.
Both vendors stand in Mount Hyjal. Aisarra Nightmeadow (71, 51.2) sells the twelve Shaman patterns for Malleable Essence of Nature, while Rhylin Stonethorn (70.6, 51.2) sells the Rousing Seed Pod.
The patterns need Leatherworking 300 and bind when picked up.
The leg patterns require Friendly with Guardians of Hyjal and completion of Friendly Advice. The glove, shoulder and boot patterns require further Guardians of Hyjal reputation progress and specialization in Gloves, Shoulders or Boots respectively.

In Elemental, Earthbound makes Earthbind Totem immobilize nearby targets when cast; Earth's Grasp in Enhancement widens the same totem's radius.
Enhancement's Improved Stormstrike can reset Stormstrike's cooldown on a dodge or parry. Our Shaman talents guide covers these talents alongside the rest of the class's trees.
