The Rogue tier set is the raid armor WoW Forever adds for the class, with a new design shared by its specs. Assassination, Combat and Subtlety draw from the same set, so every Rogue chases the same pieces.
The colors come first, then the bonuses. After that come the routes to the pieces — and there is more than one.

Rogues get one tier set for Assassination, Combat and Subtlety, Grimstitch Armor, and its raid and crafted pieces share the same look; bonuses arrive at two, three, four and five equipped pieces. Five is the cap.
The set has raid pieces for six slots; shoulders, gloves, legs and boots also have Leatherworking versions, and both versions count toward the same bonuses. The crafted pieces carry an equipment limit.
Hyjal Summit is a 20-player raid and the Barrow Deeps is a 10-player raid; both open on December 9, 2026. The raid pieces are item level 65 leather, bind on pickup (BoP) and require a level 60 Rogue.
| Slot | Grimstitch Armor piece | Armor |
|---|---|---|
| Head | Grimstitch Mask | 160 |
| Shoulder | Grimstitch Spaulders | 148 |
| Chest | Grimstitch Chestpiece | 197 |
| Hands | Grimstitch Gloves | 123 |
| Legs | Grimstitch Pants | 173 |
| Feet | Grimstitch Boots | 136 |
The item tooltips show item level and armor; Forever hides an item's stats until it drops for someone on your realm. The raids initially have no dungeon journal.
The four crafted pieces are item level 61 leather and bind on equip (BoE). They require a level 60 Rogue.
| Slot | Grimstitch Armor piece | Armor |
|---|---|---|
| Shoulder | Grimstitch Spaulders | 140 |
| Hands | Grimstitch Gloves | 117 |
| Legs | Grimstitch Pants | 164 |
| Feet | Grimstitch Boots | 129 |
Malleable Essence of Nature comes from disenchanting items from Hyjal Summit or the Barrow Deeps. One craft needs the following materials:
The recipes need a Sewing Machine, a Leatherworking 300 camp object placed beside a campfire that provides the benefits of a Camp Tent and can replace it. All camping features share a one-hour cooldown.
Blueprint: Sewing Machine, which requires Leatherworking 300, teaches the camp object. Advanced Blueprint recipes drop from dungeon bosses; our WoW Forever professions guide covers the camping system.
The crafted pieces are Unique-Equipped: Artisan's Tier (1), allowing one crafted tier piece at a time. The Rousing Seed Pod raises that limit to two; it costs 10 gold and requires level 60 and Revered with the Guardians of Hyjal.
With one crafted piece, the five-piece bonus needs at least four raid pieces; after the Seed Pod, three raid pieces and two crafted pieces reach it. Two crafted pieces give the two-piece bonus. The mask and chestpiece have no crafted version.
Gloves, shoulders and boots use less Essence than pants.
One pattern purchase plus one craft costs 9 Essence for gloves, shoulders or boots, or 13 for pants. Once the pattern is learned, later crafts use 3 Essence for those slots or 5 for pants.
Both vendors are in Mount Hyjal. Aisarra Nightmeadow (71, 51.2) sells the four Rogue patterns for Malleable Essence of Nature, while Rhylin Stonethorn (70.6, 51.2) sells the Rousing Seed Pod.
The patterns require Leatherworking 300 and bind on pickup. The pants pattern needs Friendly with the Guardians of Hyjal and completion of Friendly Advice; the other patterns require further reputation progress and a Gloves, Shoulders or Boots specialization to match the recipe.
| Pattern | Essence cost |
|---|---|
| Pattern: Grimstitch Spaulders | 6 |
| Pattern: Grimstitch Gloves | 6 |
| Pattern: Grimstitch Pants | 8 |
| Pattern: Grimstitch Boots | 6 |
Assassination's Improved Kidney Shot increases the damage of your poisons and attacks against targets stunned by Kidney Shot; Cold Blood applies its critical strike bonus to Eviscerate when it is the next eligible ability used.
Combat's Improved Eviscerate and Aggression increase Eviscerate damage; Flawless Execution reduces its Energy cost. Our Rogue talents guide has sections for Assassination, Combat and Subtlety.
The all-class tier set overview has the sets of every class in all four colors, with their SD versions.
