WoW Forever Warrior Abilities and Spells by Level
A Warrior in WoW Forever trains 36 abilities between levels 1 and 60, fewer than any other class, because most of the toolkit comes early. You get Charge at 4, Defensive Stance and Taunt at 10, Berserker Stance at 30 and Whirlwind at 36. Forever adds Victory Rush at level 20, a free hit that heals you after every kill, moves Slam to level 20 and Berserker Rage to 30, and makes Tactical Mastery a trainer spell, so every Warrior keeps 10 Rage when switching stances without a talent point.
Set your level in the planner below: it hides what you already know and shows what you learn at that level and at the next visits. Under it, the same data is written out level by level: every new Warrior ability and every stronger rank from 1 to 60, the key abilities and when you get them, what changed against Classic, the spells that come from talents, and the full Warrior spell list for each specialization.
WoW Forever Warrior Abilities by Level
A Warrior in WoW Forever has 36 abilities with trainer ranks: 33 arrive as new spells, and 3 start with a talent point before the trainer sells the higher ranks. The trainer has something for you on 30 levels: level 1, then every even level from 4 to 60, so plan a visit every two levels. The tables below split the 1 to 60 journey into six steps; the first column is the level, the second the abilities you learn for the first time, the third the new ranks with their rank number. Abilities marked (quest) come from a class quest rather than the trainer.

What Changed for Warrior Abilities in WoW Forever
Forever keeps the Classic Warrior rotation but makes leveling easier. Victory Rush heals you after every kill, Slam comes ten levels earlier and gets a fifth rank, and Tactical Mastery is free for everyone. Several defensive tools also got friendlier: Shield Wall and Retaliation are on a 15 minute cooldown instead of 30, Taunt on 8 seconds instead of 10, and Thunder Clap now works in Defensive Stance too.
These 4 abilities moved the most: they are new in Forever, come earlier than in Classic, no longer need a talent, or have a new name.
| Ability | Level | Change against Classic |
|---|---|---|
| Tactical Mastery | 14 | An Arms talent in Classic; trained without one now |
| Victory Rush | 20 | Not in Classic; Season of Discovery had a spell by this name |
| Slam | 20 | Ranks 1 to 4 trained earlier than in Classic; Rank 5 new (Classic stops at rank 4) |
| Berserker Rage | 30 | Rank 1 trained earlier than in Classic |
Another 16 Warrior spells keep their level but have new numbers: damage, healing, cost, cooldown or spell power scaling. Hover a spell in the planner above to see what changed for that exact rank.
Warrior Abilities That Come From Talents
Some Warrior abilities start as a talent. You put the point into the talent tree to get the first rank, and after that the trainer sells the higher ranks like any other spell. Others stay talent-only and the trainer never teaches them. The earliest level is when you can reach that row of the tree with every point in it.
| Ability | Talent tree | Ranks from the trainer |
|---|---|---|
| Mortal Strike | Arms | Rank 2 at 48, Rank 3 at 54, Rank 4 at 60 |
| Bloodthirst | Fury | Rank 2 at 48, Rank 3 at 54, Rank 4 at 60 |
| Shield Slam | Protection | Rank 2 at 48, Rank 3 at 54, Rank 4 at 60 |
| Piercing Howl | Fury | Talent only, from level 20 |
| Last Stand | Protection | Talent only, from level 20 |
| Spearing Strike | Arms | Talent only, from level 25 |
| Sweeping Strikes | Arms | Talent only, from level 30 |
| Death Wish | Fury | Talent only, from level 30 |
| Concussion Blow | Protection | Talent only, from level 30 |
You can plan these points in our WoW Forever Warrior talents guide, which explains every tree and the builds for leveling, dungeons and PvP.

Warrior Trainer Tips for Leveling
Warriors spend less at the trainer than anyone, so the trick is to buy the right things on time:
- Level 20 is the most important early visit: Victory Rush, Cleave, Slam and Retaliation all come at once.
- Use Victory Rush after every kill; it is free damage and a 10% heal, which cuts your downtime between pulls.
- If you level as Arms or Fury, buy every rank of Heroic Strike and Rend; ranks of Mocking Blow, Shield Bash and Hamstring can wait until you need them.
- Plan for level 40, when Mortal Strike, Bloodthirst and Shield Slam open in the talent trees and the trainer sells their higher ranks afterwards.
