What is Dreamsurge Event?

The Dreamsurge event is part of the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight's patch 10.1.7.

Every 30 minutes, a Dreamsurge event appears somewhere in the zone, where players can complete various objectives. Participating in these Event can yield ilvl 402, Veteran 1/8 item tokens. Additionally, players can vote on Dreamsurge effects every half hour, which impacts everyone in that zone.

When a zone is under the Dreamsurge's effect, certain Rare mobs within the zone become empowered, having more health and acquiring new skills.

What is Dreamsurge Coalescence in WoW?

Dreamsurge Coalescence is a special currency you can earn from completing objectives in a Dreamsurge-affected zone or by finding and looting specific items in the area. You can use this currency to purchase various items.

How to get Dreamsurge Coalescence in WoW?

In the context of the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight's patch 10.1.7 Dreamsurge event, you can obtain Dreamsurge Coalescence through several means:

• Dreamsurge Event: Participate in Dreamsurge Event that pop up every 30 minutes somewhere in the affected zone. Completing these Event provides opportunities to earn Dreamsurge Coalescence.
• Waking Dream Portals: This invasion-style portion of the Dreamsurge tasks players with defending against the Druids of the Flame. Once you complete the progress bar by defeating Druids of the Flame, destroying Flame Altars, or dragonriding through flametalon hawks, a Flame Lieutenant is summoned. Defeating this lieutenant drops rewards, including Dreamsurge Coalescence.
• Empowered Rare Elites: While a zone is influenced by a Dreamsurge, specific Rare mobs in the zone become empowered. Upon defeating these Empowered Rares, players can earn Dreamsurge Coalescence among other rewards.
• Looting in the Zone: Dreamsurge Coalescence can be gathered from looting items in the Dreamsurge-affected zones.

Dreamsurge Event Rewards

Experience Bonus: The Dreaming Winds grants a 25% experience bonus to characters leveling in a Dreamsurge-affected zone.

Item Tokens:

• Dreamsurge Event drop ilvl 402, Veteran 1/8 item tokens.
• From Waking Dream portals, upon defeating the Flame Lieutenant, you can obtain Charred Elemental Remains, 25 Dreamsurge Coalescence, a Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest, and a 402 item token.
• Empowered Rare Elites, when defeated, drop 25 Dreamsurge Coalescence, a Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest, and a 402 item token.

Dreamsurge Coalescence is a currency obtained from:

• Completing objectives in a Dreamsurge zone.
• Looting items around the Dreamsurge zone.
• Participating in Waking Dream portals and Empowered Rare Elite battles.

Dreamsurge Chrysalis: Obtained from completing the Dreamsurge weekly quest, "Shaping the Dreamsurge". This allows the purchase of ilvl 415, Champion 1/8 gear.

Catch-up Gear:

• ilvl 402, Veteran 1/8 gear (upgradeable to a max of ilvl 424). Obtainable from Dreamsurge Event and purchasable from Celestine of the Harvest at Dreamsurge locations for 100 Dreamsurge Coalescence each.
• ilvl 415, Champion 1/8 gear (upgradeable to a max of ilvl 437) purchasable using the Dreamsurge Chrysalis from Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem.

Waking Dream Portals Rewards:

• Progress in a Waking Dream portal lets you earn rewards by defeating Druids of the Flame, destroying Flame Altars, or dragonriding through flametalon hawks.
• On completing the progress bar, a Flame Lieutenant is summoned and defeating it provides various rewards, including the aforementioned 402 item token.

Empowered Rare Elites Rewards: Defeating these enhanced mobs not only provides the above-mentioned 402 item token but also access to the usual drop table from Dragon Isles rares.
