Inscription is always a great profession to have! Scribes have always been tasked with a diverse amount of crafts and items to make, and in Dragonflight, they have increased the diversity even more! Scribes will be making staves for anyone willing to buy, creating missives that are used on items to ensure the items stats, crafting brand-new glyphs for customizing your new Dragonriding mounts, and much more. It can be difficult to understand new profession mechanics and Inscription changes, but Inscription in Dragonflight is still worth leveling in WoW.
Glyphs are back in Dragonflight, but they look a little bit different. Instead of creating cosmetic changes for someone's character, you are creating new appearances for their Dragons. Scribes have access to 5 types of customization options for the 4 main Drakes of Dragonflight: Renewed Proto-Drake, Windborne Velocidrake, Highland Drake, and Cliffside Wylderdrake.
Darkmoon Decks have returned and have brought a friend! Not only do Scribes have the ability to create BoE trinkets to sell on the Auction House, but they can also upgrade these Decks and create very powerful BoP Deck Boxes like Darkmoon Deck Box: Inferno to sell to people through the new Crafting Order system. Scribes are very knowledgeable individuals. Because of this, they are tasked with creating Draconic Treatises, Draconic Treatise on Blacksmithing, for others with Professions. They can craft and sell these Treatises to others to help improve their Knowledge Points.
Inscription in Dragonflight is one of the most diverse profession. They have many types of items, BoE and BoP, that they can sell and craft for others. Darkmoon Decks are always a huge money maker and a great market at the start of expansions. If you are someone who can craft these items in the first few days, you will make lots of gold. Once you meet a specific Renown level, you will unlock Contracts, Contract: Iskaara Tuskarr, for the different factions within The Dragon Isles. Throughout the whole expansion, people love to purchase these items to help improve their reputation grinds. All crafters will be looking for more sources of Knowledge Points. Once unlocked, selling Draconic Treatises can be a great way to make some extra gold and help out your fellow goblins.
Inscription in Dragonflight is a very desirable profession. You will mostly be focused on crafting different trinkets and weapons to provide to your realm's community. Selling glyphs and other items to others is a very important market of Inscription as well. Inscription in Dragonflight has many more options to it than previous expansions.
Each Profession has its own set of unique Specializations, tailored to fit and enhance crafting and gathering capabilities thematically. Dragonflight Inscription is no exception, with access to these Specializations: Rune Mastery, Archiving, or Runebinding. Scribes will need to spend 680 Knowledge points to max out their Specializations: 140 in Rune Mastery, 330 in Archiving and 210 in Runebinding.
