Buy Profession Knowledge Farm service, and don't waste any more time on the tedious grind. Level any profession spec you want in no time. Skip the routine of daily quests and get the maximum benefit from your profession specializations.
Knowledge Points are a currency in Dragonflight specifically for crafting and gathering professions. Each crafting and gathering profession has a specialization tree, where you can unlock new recipes, abilities, improvements, and profession-related secondary skill increases. These allow you to create better items. For example, you can create Heroic Mythic raid ilvl gear and gather materials more efficiently. To advance your profession's tree, you need to get a lot of Knowledge Points and a lot of time to farm it.
If you don't want to waste all your time on the Knowledge Points farm, grinding daily quests and other activities, buy Profession Knowledge Boost and get any amount of Knowledge Points easily and stress-free!
Profession Knowledge Farm Boost can be started the same day you've placed the order and takes to complete. ETA might change due to Knowledge Points farm method and can differ from day to day.
Crafting Professions are Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Inscription, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking, and Tailoring. Gathering professions include Refreshing Herbalism, Mining, and Skinning. There are no Knowledge Points for Cooking, Fishing, or Archaeology.
Along with Knowledge Points, you will also earn varying amounts of Artisan's Mettle. This is an important currency required in some quests and used to buy profession-related items, such as the various research notes from Rabul in Valdrakken for significant boosts to your profession knowledge, or to order +1 Knowledge Draconic Treatises from Inscription through Crafting Orders.
Each method lists what type of profession it applies to, how many Knowledge Points it gives, and whether it's repeatable. You can complete daily quests, weekly crafting order quests, kill rare NPCs, use weekly Inscription treatises, or get some points from gathering professions. You will get +1 Knowledge, x1 Artisan's Mettle, and some experience the first time you craft something. That makes a lot of sense in crafting every recipe at least once, whether you want the end item or not.
There are four main Herbs and two main Mining Nodes. You get +4 Knowledge points for gathering every base herb and +2 Knowledge points for each base mine. Nevertheless, both Herbs and Mines have six different Modifiers, which have specific drop and effects upon harvesting or mining. You get +1 point for every modifier. Long story short, Herbalists get +24 Knowledge, and +12 knowledge is available for Miners. Note that this method is related only to Herbalists and Miners but not Skinners.
Every Gathering Profession will occasionally give extra items that will increase your Knowledge by 1 or 3 points. Building in a Perception will increase your chance of getting those items. Items that give you 1 point are the most common. These include Infused Pollen for Herbalists, Unyielding Stone Chunk for Miners, or Saturated Bone for Skinners. These items have no limits, and your luck only limits them.
But items that provide players with +3 points are limited and you can loot them only one per week. These items are: Dreambloom for Herbalists, Iridescent Ore for Miners, and Large Sample of Curious Hide for Skinners.
You may find some open-world treasures hidden across all the Dragon Isles and containing Profession-specific Knowledge. Those items give +3 Knowledge to your current crafting profession. Players without the profession can still find the item but cannot interact with it. Most gathering professions have approx. 7-8 treasures.
The Dragon Shard of Knowledge is a quest reward item. You can find it in the open world hidden treasures such as Expedition Scout's Pack. You need to turn these shards to a master artisan in Ohn’ahran Plains named Khadin, as these items don’t give Knowledge by themselves.
The ability to turn in Dragon Shards must be opened via a questline. You won’t be able to collect them until you get Khadin's Wisdom after the final quest. This usually starts in the Ruby Life Pools. Nevertheless, it can also be started in Ohn’ahran Plains and Valdrakken. It can be started in three different zones because Thomas Bright can be found in all three locations. The starting quest is called Khadin. Once you complete the quest line, you can turn in all of your A Gift for Miguel. Note that you will have a choice of where to apply it. This is a repeatable quest so that you can turn this item in as often as possible. There are no daily or weekly limits.
Profession Trainer Quests award players with 3 points of Knowledge. The primary and most significant source of Profession Knowledge will be repeatable quests from a profession trainer. Prepare to make it a part of your everyday routine until you build both of your Professions. Once you have opened World Quests, you get Profession Trainer Quests and Adventure Mode available. To do this, you must hit level 68 and complete the campaign. Once you complete these conditions, Moving On quest opens. And all of these will be opened for your alts too.
Scribes can craft items called Draconic Treatises. You must order these items by placing a Work Order via the Crafting Order Stations in Valdrakken. You can use them only once weekly to get 1 point of Knowledge in any specific crafting or gathering profession.
You can find Rabul in Valdrakken standing next to the mailbox, /way 35.6 59.0. He sells various research notes for every available in-game profession. He will only show you the treatises for your professions. You will get 15 points of Knowledge Points for your skill of choice, after you spend Artisan's Mettle. The starting price is x100 Artisan's Mettle. The only problem is that these items become increasingly expensive as you buy them.
Gaining Renown with factions can earn Crafter's Knowledge. Each profession can learn +5 Knowledge at Renown 14 and +10 Knowledge at Renown 23/24 with two different factions (Dragonscale Expedition requires Renown 23; Maruuk Centaur, Iskaara Tuskarr, and Valdrakken Accord require Renown 24). Which two factions you need will depend entirely on the professions. Some faction and profession combinations will grant you Knowledge Points, while others don't. Let us take a closer look.
