Wrath of the Lich King expansion was released in 2008. Main features of this expansion include the increase of the level cap to level 80, introduction of the death knight hero class, new PvP and outdoor PvP content and achievement mechanic. WotLK continues to expand the number of mounts in the game, with new type mounts that increase swimming speed and new models of flying and ground mounts. With achievement feature players get a new way to obtain mounts.

The Argent Tournament is WotLK expansion permanent event that could provide you with many rewards including a lot of cool mounts! To do so, you need to farm yourself mad, because there is much farming waiting for you on the tournament grounds! Boring and repetitive grind, long quest chains, repetitive daily quests, mob farm and so on. What do you have to do to obtain mounts? Well, it’s simple. Your need to become the Champion of your faction's race. By becoming the champion of one race, you can become the champion of all the others and only this way get all the racial-faction Argent Tournament mounts. You also need to farm Champion's Seal event currency during your grind for championship to buy Argent Tournament mounts. For example, as Horde player you could obtain Darkspear Raptor only after you have become Exalted Champion of Sen'jin and if you roll with the Alliance, you could obtain Ironforge Ram after you become Exalted Champion of Ironforge. You also need to farm enough Champion's Seal to be able to buy any of these mounts from special tournament vendor.

Mounts of this category are obtained for completing glory-achievements in the PvE WotLK segment. You have to go through dungeons or raids and complete certain conditions to get these achievements with cool mounts as reward!
Now, let us see what mounts and what achievements you could get:
Reins of the Time-Lost Proto-Drake is one of the signature WotLK mounts. This mount drops from a rare Time-Lost Proto-Drake NPC that spawns absolutely unpredictably in Storm Peaks zone every few hours. It has a low hp bar so anyone could easily kill it, which means that you need to camp it for hours and hours flying from one to another spawn zones.
There are many cool quests in WotLK, but some of them are truly epic journey with worthy rewards. The Sacred and the Corrupt is good example of long and hard quest chain that could take month to complete it. After you complete it you could obtain Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger mount as well as legendary Shadowmourne! This epic quest chain could be long, hard and sometimes boring journey that we could do for you with our WoW Quest Mounts boost!
In some WotLK quests you need not only to complete quests but also obtain special items. For example, after you could get Mysterious Egg container you need to wait for 3 days of real time before, with random chance, Reins of the Green Proto-Drake would hatch from it.
Another good example of pretty rare quest mount is Reins of the White Polar Bear that could be obtained from Hyldnir Spoils container with low chance, farming it requires completing daily quests in Storm Peaks zone.

There are a lot of factions that you should farm reputation with, and some of them could give you access to obtain some pretty cool mounts!
In addition to your journey on The Argent Tournament grounds you could obtain mount from The Silver Covenant / The Sunreavers faction. To do so, you need not only to farm Champion's Seal but also to hit Exalted reputation with these factions. After you have done all of these boring activities, you could obtain Quel'dorei Steed / Sunreaver Hawkstrider mounts and Silver Covenant Hippogryph / Sunreaver Dragonhawk flying mounts.
Hitting Exalted with The Sons of Hodir will give you access to obtaining cool Reins of the Grand Ice Mammoth that could carry 2 additional passengers with you on board, and for Revered status you could obtain Reins of the Ice Mammoth WotLK mount.
If you get Exalted status reputation with The Wyrmrest Accord you could obtain Reins of the Red Drake
Reputation farm is a long and boring process that could be much easier for you with our WoW Reputation boost!
Reins of the Plagued Proto-Drake was obtained through Glory of the Raider (10 player) and was available from the launch of Wrath of the Lich King until the 3.1 patch and was removed after it. Sadly, its no longer available for players. But, don't worry if you loved it, because you gould obtain this mount from Black Market.
Mount collection achievement only appeared in WotLK. In time of this expansion, there are not that many mounts as there are today.
Don't we forget something? Ah yes, how could we! You could obtain this little and cute Sea Turtle from any fishing pool in Northrend with extremely low chance! This mount cannot move very quickly on land, but she is a great swimmer.
