Another way to get the Valarjar Stormwing mount is through the Black Market Auction House (BMAH). It frequently appears on BMAH, making this a faster and more dependable option compared to random drops. However, in Shadowlands, Blizzard's restrictions on non-max level characters accessing the BMAH have made acquiring these items more challenging. In previous expansions, acquiring Valarjar Stormwing was straightforward: create a level 1 character on the desired realm, purchase enough gold, place a bid, win the auction, and Valarjar Stormwing would instantly be yours. Now, it requires a maximum level character, making it impractical to level up one from scratch in the short window between item detection and auction end; thus, character transfer becomes the only viable option, albeit risky.

Character transfer comes at a cost, amplifying the importance of knowing historical BMAH pricing and the level of competition on each realm. Buying Valarjar Stormwing from professional players with vast experience and ample gold reserves across various realms is the most convenient way to secure these valuable legacy items!
