Mounts in WoW Forever come from very different places, and each source has its own bottleneck. Riding skill and racial mounts cost gold - 20 gold for training at level 40 plus 80 for the mount, and around 1,000 gold for the epic version at 60, with discounts at Honored and PvP Rank 3. Paladin and Warlock epic mounts sit behind long class quest chains with dungeon steps that need a group. Reputation mounts like the Winterspring Frostsaber are gated by a daily quest cap that no amount of extra playtime can speed up. The Pack Kodo is bought with Merchant's Favor earned over weeks of crate turn-ins. The Spectral Bear arrive only at 55 account-wide Legacy Points. Rare drops like Rivendare's Deathcharger from the Baron in Stratholme come down to a low drop chance on every kill.
What these mounts have in common is that none of them depend on skill. A fully geared character is no closer to a Frostsaber or a Deathcharger than a fresh one - the cost is gold, repetition, a fixed schedule, or luck. That's the part a mount boost takes over. Available services include:
The Forever Mount Boost covers every route a mount can sit behind. That matters more in Forever than in most versions of the game: there is no flying at any point and no level scaling, so ground speed is the only travel upgrade that exists, and the gap between walking and riding is the single largest quality-of-life jump in the whole game. Past that first unlock, mounts stop being about speed and start being about what they took to get.
Forever changed the economics of riding. Classic charged twice - once for the riding skill, once for a mount from a vendor - while Forever follows the Burning Crusade approach: the up-front mount cost is folded into the training price, and learning the skill grants a mount outright. Any guide quoting Classic's separate gold figures for a first mount is describing a system this game no longer uses.
Two further rules shape every order on this page. There is no flying in Forever at all, so the hundred percent ground tier is the ceiling. And mounts are learned by the character that earns them rather than shared across the account - the one exception being Legacy progress, where the points are account-wide even though the mount still lands on a single character.
| Source | What it covers | The bottleneck |
|---|---|---|
| Riding trainer | The first mount and the epic speed tier | Gold for the training |
| Class quest chains | Warhorse, Charger, Forsaken Charger, Felsteed, Dreadsteed | A long chain with a group step inside it |
| Legacy Reward Track | Reins of the Spectral Bear | Account-wide challenges across the whole game |
| PvP ranks | Black War Mounts | Weeks on the seasonal rank ladder |
| Dungeon drops | Rivendare's Deathcharger in Stratholme | A low drop chance against a lockout |
| Reputation | Faction mounts at Exalted | A long reputation farm with a daily ceiling |
Ordering several at once is usually cheaper in time than ordering them one by one, because the routes overlap. A reputation farm that ends in a mount often closes a Legacy Challenge on the way, and a Stratholme schedule set up for the Deathcharger produces gear and gold that would otherwise need their own runs.
Over a hundred mounts exist in WoW Forever, but a large share are currently unobtainable. Most of those are racial vendor purchases - straightforward gold and riding skill transactions available to any character. The prestige sits in a much smaller group: class mounts locked behind dedicated quest chains, reputation mounts gated by faction standing, PvP war mounts tied to rank progression, and the handful of rare drops from dungeons and raids. Those are the mounts our boost services are built around.
Six sources, and the route depends entirely on the mount being targeted: racial vendors once the gold is ready; class quest chains for Paladins and Warlocks; reputation vendors unlocked at Exalted; dungeon and raid boss drops on weekly lockout cycles; PvP rank rewards at the upper brackets; and world event mounts that open and close with the content window.
Every carry order at ConquestCapped is scoped around whichever of those six applies to the mount you named - fastest route identified, correct source targeted, every step handled until the mount lands in your collection.
No. A mount belongs to the character that earned it and does not appear on alts, so the character named on the order is the one that keeps it. Legacy Points are the exception to the rule - the progress is shared across the account, though the mount it unlocks still lands on one character.
Training and mount are a single purchase. Burning Crusade model, where the money that once bought a mount separately sits inside the training cost and a mount is granted when the skill is learned. There is no second trip to a vendor afterwards.
No, at any level. Ground riding is the only movement upgrade in the game, which is why the epic speed tier carries so much weight and why every zone is designed to be crossed on the ground.
By lockouts rather than by hours. The boss is the only thing that can put the mount in the loot pool, so the run repeats on schedule until it does, and no reset is wasted along the way. Everything else that drops during those clears stays on your character.
