The Legacy Points Boost raises your account's Legacy total to the milestone you choose by clearing Legacy Challenges on your behalf. Legacy is account-wide progression layer: each completed challenge adds one point, points are shared across all of your characters, and the running total feeds the Legacy Reward Track, where cosmetic and prestige rewards unlock at set milestones. Blizzard has confirmed these rewards carry no competitive advantage - they exist for players who want something to show for the time invested across alts.
Challenges span six categories - exploring zones, leveling classes, raising tradeskills, earning PvP ranks, maxing reputations, and completing dungeons and raids. Each character can only spend 16 Legacy Points at launch, but the Reward Track keeps counting all the way to 65 - and the final collectible sits at 55. Getting there means dozens of challenges across professions, reputations, exploration, and group content, much of it on characters you might never play otherwise. The boost takes that checklist off your hands, so the points build up while your own playtime goes into the characters and content you actually enjoy.
Spending Legacy Points efficiently across the three Legacy Tree branches - Professions, Adventure, and Resourcefulness - is one of the more impactful long-term decisions in WoW Forever. Our Legacy System boost farms the points you need and helps you build toward the perks that matter most for your playstyle, whether that's faster profession skill-ups, stronger camp buffs, or better reputation gains across every character on your account. Points are shared account-wide but spent independently per character, with a launch cap of 16 points per character.

The Spectral Bear is an epic ground mount with 100% increased movement speed. Riding it requires a level 60 character with Journeyman Riding, so unlocking the reward and being able to use it are two separate checks.
Legacy Points are Forever account-wide progression currency. Every completed Legacy Challenge adds one point to a pool shared by all your characters. Each character spends from that pool independently on non-combat perks, while the overall total unlocks cosmetic rewards on the Legacy Reward Track.
Legacy Points do two separate jobs. Each character spends up to 16 of them in its own Legacy Trees - Professions, Adventure, and Resourcefulness - on non-combat perks, so two level 60 characters on the same account can run completely different builds. At the same time, the total number of points earned, spent or not, advances the Reward Track, which is why progress past 16 still pays off.
Points are shared across server rulesets with one exception: Hardcore keeps its own boundary, and progress from other rulesets does not flow into it.

Every milestone reached across these categories unlocks a new reward on the Legacy Track. Because points are account-wide, activities completed on any character on your account contribute to the same shared pool - making alt leveling, profession farming, and dungeon runs on secondary characters all directly useful to your main's Legacy Tree investment.
Reins of the Spectral Bear is the final reward on the track at 55 points. Reaching that milestone also unlocks the air rifle toy, the cub companion, and the tabard below it. To actually ride the bear, the character needs to be level 60 with Journeyman Riding.
No. The Reward Track counts every point your account has earned, whether it sits unspent or is already invested in a character's Legacy Tree. Spending points on perks never pushes a collectible further away.
No. Legacy progress is shared across Forever's rulesets except Hardcore, which keeps a separate boundary. Points earned on Normal, PvP, or Roleplaying characters stay outside Hardcore, while progress made in Hardcore can carry out to the other rulesets.
