5v5 is especially useful for players who want both rating and Arena Points. Unlike 2v2 and 3v3, the 5v5 bracket has no reduction applied to its Arena Points calculation, giving it the highest weekly point reward at the same rating.
Your rating also unlocks current-season Arena gear. PvP weapons require 1700 rating, while shoulders require 2000. Complete at least 10 rated 5v5 games during the week to qualify for Arena Points, which are awarded after the weekly reset.
