Introduced in Phase 8 of Season of Discovery, PvP event called The Blood Moon brings a bit of mayhem to Stranglethorn Vale. WoW Season of Discovery The Blood Moon PvP Event Carry Rewards

You will get Blood-Caked Silver Coin for participating in the event. By killing enemies, including both players and world mobs, players will increase their stacks of the Blood For The Blood Loa buff. Players get about five or six Blood For The Blood Loa stacks for every enemy they kill and lose a percentage-based amount on death. The buff maxes out at 255 stacks, but you should be well on your way to turn in your Blood For The Blood Loa in exchange for Blood-Caked Coinss before then.

An incredibly powerful World Boss will spawn somewhere in the zone during the event, too. Though it might be possible to kill this enemy, just being in its vicinity grants a huge boost to Blood earned for every kill. Find this World Boss and stay near it without aggravating it to get even more Blood.

There are several altars to the Blood Loa around Stranglethorn Vale during the event, which will be highlighted on your World Map of the zone while the Blood Moon is active. After getting enough stacks of Blood For The Blood Loa, head to one of these Altars to convert your current stack amount into Blood-Caked Copper Coin s. You can buy weapons for 10-15 Blood-Caked Silver Coin s, trinkets, rings, off-hand items for 5 Blood-Caked Silver Coin s, hunter quiver and ammo pouch for 3 Blood-Caked Silver Coin and other items for 1-2 Blood-Caked Silver Coin s.

Druids have a choice of a Nature/Arcane Spell Power Off-Hand, a Feral Attack Power Two-Handed Mace or a Healing Trinket.

• Ritualist's Hammer - Feral Attack Power Two-Handed Mace with a Stormstrike damage on-use effect;
• Talisman of the Corrupted Grove - Trinket with Mana Regeneration and increased Healing.

Hunter Blood Moon Items

Hunters have the option to choose between a Bow with a Strength proc or a Crossbow that has a Life Leech on Hit effect.

• Gurubashi Pit Fighter's Bow - Bow with a Strength proc;
• Bloodthirst Crossbow - Crossbow with a Health Leech effect;

Mage Blood Moon Items

Mages can wear one of three rings, each increasing Spell Power for a specific school.

• Bloodfocused Arcane Band - Arcane Spell Power Ring;
• Band of Boiling Blood - Fire Spell Power Ring;
• Glacial Blood Band - Frost Spell Power Ring.

Paladin Blood Moon Items

Paladins have a choice of three items - a Healing Trinket, a One-Hand Sword with Holy Spell Power, and a Relic that increases Attack Power against Dragonkin.

• Eclipsed Sanguine Saber - One-Handed Sword with Holy Spell Power;
• Libram of Draconic Destruction - Relic that increases Attack Power when fighting Dragonkin;
• Bloodlight Reverence - Trinket with Mana Regeneration and increased Healing.

Priest Blood Moon Items

Priests can choose between a Healing Power Ring and a Shadow Spell Power Ring.

• Seal of the Sacrificed - Healing Power Ring;
• Sanguine Shadow Band - Shadowy Band of Victory.

Rogue Blood Moon Items

Rogues can choose between a Dagger and a Sword, each with a different bonus equip effect.

• Gurubashi Backstabber - 1.7 speed Dagger with an increased Critical Hit Chance;
• Bloodied Sword of Speed - 1.7 speed Sword with a chance to increase Movement Speed on hit.

Shaman Blood Moon Items

Shaman have the option of choosing between a spell range increasing Relic, a Healing Trinket, and a Two-Handed Mace with a knockdown effect.

• Corrupted Smashbringer - Two-Handed Mace with a knockdown effect;
• Totem of Fiery Precision - Relic that increases the range of Flame Shock;
• Ancestral Voodoo Doll - Trinket with Mana Regeneration and increased Healing.

Warlock Blood Moon Items

Warlocks can choose between a Shadow Spell Power Ring, a Fire Spell Power Ring, or an AOE Damage Trinket that also improves your pet's Stamina and Intellect.

• Loop of Burning Blood - Fire Spell Power Ring;
• Eye of the Bloodmoon - Shadow Spell Power Ring.

Warrior Blood Moon Items

Warriors have the choice of thrown Spear that can immobilize their target or a Shield that has the chance to silence the caster of hosile spells targeting the Warrior.
