Inscription is always a great profession to have! Scribes have always been tasked with a diverse amount of crafts and items to make. Scribes will be making staves for anyone willing to buy, creating missives that are used on items to ensure the items stats, crafting glyphs for customizing DF drake mounts, and much more. It can be difficult to understand new profession mechanics and Inscription changes, but Inscription is still worth leveling in WoW. Not only do Scribes have the ability to create BoE trinkets to sell on the Auction House, but they can also upgrade Darkmoon Decks and create very powerful BoP Deck Boxes to sell them to people through the new Crafting Order system. Once you meet a specific Renown level, you will unlock Contracts, for the different factions within new expansion zone. Throughout the whole expansion, people love to purchase these items to help improve their reputation grinds.

Inscription has four Specializations:

• Pursuit of Knowledge - focuses on improving the fundamentals of Inscription. Scribes can boost their Secondary Skills - Ingenuity, Resourcefulness, and Multicraft - for all Inscription items. Crafting this recipe will give you a chance at discovering the other Treatises for each profession.
• Pursuit of Perfection - focuses on the reagent side of Inscription. Scribes will improve their overall skill and crafting speed when making reagents, milling, and crafting Inks. If you are focusing on mass-reagent crafting in Inscription you will want to max out this specialization tree.
• Careful Carvings - focuses on the tools and equipment that Scribes can create.
• Archival Additions - focuses on a wide variety of Inscription crafts. A Scribe focused on Darkmoon Cards, and the newly introduced Darkmoon Sigils, will want to focus on the left-side of this tree. If you interested in crafting Vantus Runes, Missives, or Contracts you will want to focus on the right-side of this tree.

Herbalism is the only pair to the The War Within Inscription profession since herbs will be your primary crafting material. But, if you have another source of herbs for your inks, like an Auction House, you could always speak with our manager and add another secondary profession.
