Another method for obtaining the Experiment 12-B mount is through the Black Market Auction House. It appears on BMAH several times a month, making this method faster and more reliable compared to regular farming. However, securing BMAH items became more challenging in Shadowlands, as Blizzard has restricted access to BMAH for non-max level characters. In previous expansions, acquiring Experiment 12-B was straightforward: you simply needed to create a level 1 character on the target realm, acquire enough gold, place your bid, win the auction, and Experiment 12-B would be yours. Now, it requires a max level character, which is challenging to level from scratch in the short time between detecting the item and the auction's end; therefore, transferring a character is the only viable option, coupled with a stroke of luck.
Character transfers come at a cost. This makes success highly dependent on having knowledge of historical BMAH prices and the level of competition on each realm. Consequently, buying Experiment 12-B from professional players with extensive experience and a large gold reserve on multiple realms is the easiest way to add these legacy items to your collection!

Experiment 12-B drops from Ultraxion raid boss which means it cannot be farmed non-stop with a single character; there's a raid cooldown of 1 week so farming it with one or a small number of characters will likely take a while. An easy way to stack odds in your favor is to prepare more characters of sufficient level and start doing weekly Dragon Soul runs with each of them. Let's do some math and assume you're trying to get a sample 1% drop chance mount from some raid. This is what your chance of success after 2 months looks like depending on the number of characters you've got:
