Undercity is the faction for the capital city of the Forsaken Undead, Undercity, ruled by Sylvanas Windrunner. It is located in Tirisfal Glades, at the northern edge of the Eastern Kingdoms. The city proper is located under the ruins of the historical City of Lordaeron. To enter it, you will walk through the ruined outer defenses of Lordaeron and the abandoned throneroom, until you reach one of three elevators guarded by two abominations. Some times after Third Ward, Sylvanas sent emissaries to various factions in search of allies. The kind-hearted tauren of Thunder Bluff proved to be the most promising contact. Tauren convinced Warchief Thrall, despite his misgivings, to forge an alliance of convenience between the Forsaken and the Horde. Just like other major cities factions of the Horde, Undercity is represented on Argent Tournament. You will need a significant amount of reputation to reach Exalted and get access to racial mounts, discounts and related achievements and other rewards. Also, gaining reputation with Undercity is required to get cool reputation meta-achievements available now on WotLK Classic servers as well as access to special mount and racial-related rewards on Argent Tournament.
