Algalon is the true final boss encounter of the Ulduar raid, available only on Hard Mode. The Algalon the Observer encounter is particularly unique because you can only engage him for 1 hour each lockout, starting from the moment you first attack him, before he leaves the instance until the next week. If you are in combat with him as the timer hits 0 seconds left, Algalon will wipe your raid and disappear. Algalon is a hard hitter and will require your tankiest gear set to survive. It is also difficult to deal with for range or melee DPS and healers. Algalon's fight requires communication and coordinate inside the raid group, especially with the main tank and the rest of the raid.
