World of Warcraft developers continue to encourage players to push for the highest possible keystone levels. Another reason to do so was introduced in patch 12.0.5 with the release of the Keystone Myth achievement and its exclusive reward, the Timelost Saddle. With these additions, Mythic+ fans get a dungeon-related version of the Vicious Saddle and access to obtaining Keystone Master and Keystone Legend mounts from past seasons. In our Timelost Saddle Mounts Overview, you'll find everything you need to know about obtaining these coveted items, along with the complete list of all past rewards and some new ones.
Even during the previous expansion, The War Within, all seasonal rewards were time-limited and removed from the game once a season ended. The Midnight expansion changes that approach. Now, players have the chance to obtain every Keystone Master and Keystone Legend mount ever released through the Timelost Saddle, which you can earn by completing the Keystone Myth achievement. That said, all past mounts — along with several new recolored versions — are available for purchase.
Once you complete the Keystone Myth achievement and obtain the Timelost Saddle, you'll have the opportunity to use the services of Lindormi, a vendor. Among the goods she offers, you'll find 20 mounts: 14 from past expansions and 6 recolored versions of them. Now you can fill the gaps in your collection or treat yourself to some brand-new rewards.
There is one limitation, however: you can only earn one Timelost Saddle per season per Warband.
The Timelost Saddle and the Vicious Saddle from PvP activities work the same way. There are only two differences between them:
We think both differences could change in the future. New PvP mounts could be released, and the Timelost Saddle cap could be removed as well.
The Timelost Saddle was added to the game during the second update to the Midnight expansion in April 2026. Patch 12.0.5: Lingering Shadows brought several open-world activities, cosmetic rewards, and the Keystone Myth achievement tied to the Mythic+ system. The Timelost Saddle, of course, became the main feature of the patch, helping many players maintain their interest in the game between major content updates.
Obtaining the Timelost Saddle requires players to complete the seasonal Keystone Myth achievement. In turn, the achievement requires players to earn at least 3400 Mythic+ score by completing dungeons from the seasonal pool. Reaching this Mythic+ score can be done by clearing dungeons at +16 or higher during both Fortified and Tyrannical weeks. Once you hit the required score, you'll receive the Timelost Saddle.
There is only one vendor who serves players with the Timelost Saddle. In most cases, you'll want to look for this vendor in the expansion's capital city. For the Midnight expansion, you should head to Silvermoon City, the capital of the Sin'dorei.
To find the Midnight version of the Mythic Keystone vendor Lindormi, go to the central part of the Silvermoon city at /way 42.2 58.8. Also, there are two versions of the NPC in the capitals from the Dragonflight and The War Within expansion:
The vendor offers to players all available KSM and KSL mounts and caches with random PvE gear in addition.
The first mount tied to the Keystone achievement series was released in the fourth season of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. After that, at least four KSM or KSL mounts were available during each expansion's seasonal challenges. Including the Midnight Keystone Master and Keystone Legend rewards, you can obtain 22 Keystone mounts:
| Expansion | Mount | Achievement |
|---|---|---|
| Battle for Azeroth | Awakened Mindborer | Keystone Master: Season Four |
| Shadowlands | Sintouched Deathwalker | Keystone Master: Season One |
| Shadowlands | Soultwisted Deathwalker | Keystone Master: Season Two |

| Shadowlands | Restoration Deathwalker | Keystone Master: Season Four |
| Dragonflight | Hailstorm Armoredon | Keystone Master: Season One |
| Dragonflight | Inferno Armoredon | Keystone Master: Season Two |

In addition to the mounts from the past, you can use your saddle to buy some new recolors from the list:

In the last expansion, Keystone Master was generally a seasonal achievement that any mid-level player could handle, even through the LFG system. In the Midnight era, for example, it requires attaining at least 2000 Mythic+ score, which can be achieved by conquering +7 level dungeons. Keep in mind that the best possible gear drops at +10 difficulty. That means every active player can earn the Keystone Master achievement naturally just by gearing up throughout the expansion.
Right now, the only one Midnight Keystone Master mount is available, Calamitous Carrion.
To obtain it, you should hit 2000 Mythic+ score and earn Keystone Master achievement.
The War Within expansion introduced to players three Keystone Master mounts. All of them refer to the Season main plot and have the patch-themed appearances. Let’s take a closer loot at them:
You can obtain all of them by exchanging the Timelost Saddle with Lindormi in Silvermoon.
Dragonflight added to the game four expansion-themed Keystone Master mounts. Let’s check the list:
You can buy all of them from Lindormi in Silvermoon by using the Timelost Saddle.
Shadowlands introduced four Keystone Master mounts, each themed around an expansion main plot. Here’s the full list:
All of them can be purchased from Lindormi in Silvermoon using the Timelost Saddle.
As mentioned, only one Keystone Master mount was released during the Battle of Azeroth expansion. Awakened Mindborer refers to Ny’alotha and the Old Gods.
As all other Keystone mounts, you can use the Timelost Saddle to buy the mount.
Keystone Legend is a much more difficult challenge than Keystone Master. This achievement requires players to earn a Mythic+ score of 3000 or higher, which means completing dungeons at a minimum of +12 difficulty. Considering that the achievement was only introduced in The War Within expansion, there are only a few KSL mounts you can obtain.
The one and only Midnight KSL mount for now is Convalescent Carrion.
Complete the Midnight Keystone Legend challenge to ride this flying mount.
The War Within expansion gave players a chance to acquire two Keystone Master mounts. Both refer to the Season main plot and have the patch-themed appearances. Let’s take a closer loot at them:
You can obtain all of them by exchanging the Timelost Saddle with Lindormi in Silvermoon.
