Nightfall Skyreaver Mount Guide

Updated 06 Apr 2026 | Author: Invord | ~5 min

The Nightfall Skyreaver's Reins is a Timewalking-exclusive mount tied to the Warlords of Draenor event. Unlike most mounts obtained through farming or RNG drops, this one is purchased directly with event currency, making it a guaranteed reward once you collect enough resources.

Visually, the mount features a darker, more aggressive version of the Skyreaver model, making it especially appealing for players who enjoy Draenor-themed mounts. The main limitation is availability, as it can only be obtained during a specific Timewalking rotation.

  • Added in patch: 11.0.7 "Siren Isle"
  • Mount type: Flying
  • Source: Timewalking vendor
  • Cost: 5000 Timewarped Badges
  • Availability: Warlords Timewalking only

How to get Nightfall Skyreaver

Nightfall Skyreaver

To obtain the Nightfall Skyreaver, you need to collect 5000 Timewarped Badge and purchase the mount from a Timewalking vendor in Ashran.

The mount is sold by Kronnus in Warspear for Horde players, or Tempra in Stormshield for Alliance.

Farming Timewarped Badges can take multiple dungeon runs, and the mount itself is only available during a limited Timewalking rotation. If you prefer a faster and more predictable approach, our Nightfall Skyreaver service allows you to prepare the currency and secure the mount without waiting for future event cycles.

Getting to Ashran

To reach the vendor, you need to travel to Ashran. The fastest way is through your faction’s portal room in Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

For Alliance, the Ashran portal is located on the left side of the portal room, before the Valdrakken portal. For Horde, you need to enter a secondary portal room located just before the main hall and take the Draenor portal from there.

Once you enter the Ashran portal, you will arrive at your faction’s main hub — either Stormshield for Alliance or Warspear for Horde.

The mount is sold by Tempra Alliance and Kronnus Horde. Both NPCs are located slightly away from the main hub, so you may need to walk a short distance to reach them.

Tempra is located in the southern part of Stormshield, right in front of the Hero’s Rest Inn, while Kronnus can be found on the western side of Warspear in a separate area near the general goods vendor.

  • /way 37.2 72.6 - Tempra
  • /way 42.8 54.6 - Kronnus

How to Earn Timewarped Badges

Timewarped Badges are earned during Timewalking events by completing dungeons and related activities. These events typically appear every few weeks and rotate between expansions.

The most reliable way to farm badges is by running Timewalking dungeons through the Group Finder. Each boss awards badges, with the final boss and dungeon completion providing the largest rewards. Since there is no limit on dungeon runs, you can farm badges continuously during the event.

  • Dungeon bosses: 5 badges per boss
  • Final boss: 10 badges
  • Dungeon completion: 25 badges

The first dungeon you complete during the event rewards a quest item, such as Shimmering Timewarped Crystal, which can be turned in for 500 badges.

Additionally, Timewalking raids are available during certain events. These include:

  • Black Temple (TBC)
  • Ulduar (Wrath of the Lich King)
  • Firelands (Cataclysm)

Each raid has a related quest such as Disturbance Detected: Black Temple, which provides a large amount of badges on completion. Make sure to pick this up! It can usually be found near the Timewalking vendor. It will give you 500 Badges on the first completion and 300 on any subsequent completions on alts.

The Disturbance Detected quest requires you to kill the last boss of the raid. There are often skip groups in group finder for the last boss specifically if you do not want to complete the whole raid.

Group finder

Similar to Timewalking dungeons, completing a Timewalking raid will reward you with a quest item that can be turned in for 500 Timewarped Badges after defeating the final boss. To receive this item, your character must be at least level 30.

After completing the quest for the first time, any additional turn-ins during the same event will grant only 200 Timewarped Badges, making the initial completion the most valuable source of currency.

In addition to badges, the reward chest from quests like Disturbance Detected also has a chance to contain rare mounts tied to the corresponding expansion. For example, during Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking, you may receive Invincible as a bonus reward.

Tip: Playing as a tank or healer significantly reduces queue times, allowing you to farm badges much faster than DPS characters.

Useful Add-ons for Nightfall Skyreaver

Since this mount is tied to Timewalking efficiency, addons that improve queue times, navigation, and tracking can significantly speed up your progress.

  • Premade Groups Filter: Helps find fast groups for Timewalking raids
  • TomTom: Useful for navigating Ashran vendors
  • Leatrix Maps: Improves overall navigation
  • SavedInstances: Tracks rewards and progress across alts

Using SavedInstances together with multiple characters is one of the most effective ways to optimize your badge farming.
