Patch 12.1.5 is bringing an eclectic mix of mounts to World of Warcraft: Midnight. From a five-million-gold customizable monstrosity to a food-delivery motorcycle that no one asked for, this patch is leaning into variety. Whether you are a serious collector or just here for the absurdity, there is something in this lineup for you.
Based on Blizzard announcements, here is a quick overview of what is coming.
The headline mount of patch 12.1.5 is the Sporebearer Fungal Strider, a massive fungal creature from Harandar that serves as the spiritual successor to the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur. Like that legendary gold sink, this mount comes with vendor NPCs — but with a modern twist: the passengers are customizable.
The mount costs 5,000,000 gold from Showena in Harandar. By default, it comes with a repair vendor and mailbox. Two additional NPCs can be unlocked: a Transmogrifier for 500,000 gold and an Auctioneer for 1,500,000 gold. That brings the total to 7,000,000 gold for everything.
The mount itself is only available until the end of Midnight, but any NPC unlocks you purchase remain yours permanently.
The Loa-Blessed Wayfarer is the reward for completing the new Labyrinth of Kindo'jan, a Delve-style mega-dungeon coming in 12.1.5. To earn it, you must defeat Kindo'jan on Tier 11 while completely solo, completing the achievement Let Me Solo Him: Kindo'jan.
The mount is described as a spectral loa construct that ferries spirits to De Other Side, fitting the Amani death-and-passage theme of the Labyrinth. This is a seasonal reward, so if you want it, do not wait until the end of Season 2.
Patch 12.1.5 adds four variants of a food-themed motorcycle called the Hot Motocross Bunmover, numbered 4000, 4200, 4400, and 4600. All four are tagged as Trading Post mounts, with one listing showing 500 Trader's Tender.
The flavor text is exactly as absurd as the concept suggests: "Warning: Contents may be hot and delicious," and "When dessert manufacturing meets speed optimization. Intact bun delivery not guaranteed".
The Living Heartsbane Cauldron is listed as an In-Game Shop mount. It uses the familiar Drust wicker construct aesthetic, but instead of a traditional mount, you ride inside a living cauldron. The flavor text explains that a cunning witch can brew and travel simultaneously.
No price or release date has been confirmed yet.
The Corrupted Swarmer is a flying Aqir mount tied to the new Aqir Invasion world event. It is sold by Estelia Archtender in Silvermoon City for 2,500 of the event currency, and requires Exalted with the Aqir research enclave.
Its description: "The Aqir swarmers feast on heroes and cowards alike to grow their ranks".

Patch 12.1.5 is shaping up to be one of the strangest mount patches in recent memory. The Sporebearer Fungal Strider offers the most flexible utility mount the game has ever seen, provided you have the gold. The Loa-Blessed Wayfarer rewards genuine solo skill. And then there are the food-delivery motorcycles, which exist because someone at Blizzard thought it would be funny.
