The Midnight expansion introduced four brand-new world events, allowing players to dive into the new zones' storylines, earn reputation with the Midnight factions, and expand their collection with various cosmetic rewards. In the guide below, we'll take a closer look at all these events in detail: how to access them, how to complete them, and how to obtain the Midnight event rewards.
From the start of Midnight, players can access four world events. All of them are tied to specific Midnight zones, while the Amani Tribe-related event can be completed in all Midnight zones. So, let's take a look at all the available Midnight world events and their zones:
Weekly completion of all these events rewards players with a Surplus Bag of Party Favors, an Overflowing Abundant Satchel, an Avid Learner's Supply Pack, and a Victorious Stormarion Pinnacle Cache, each of which contains gold, specific faction currency, and gear pieces. In addition, completing the events grants access to various cosmetic rewards, which we'll discuss in the text below.
As the title of the event implies, during the Eversong Woods event, you'll attend a soiree with representatives of the four Silvermoon Court sub-factions: the Blood Knights, Farstriders, Magisters, and Shades of the Row. Completing this event is the main way to gain reputation with these sub-factions, so we highly recommend that you not miss this activity.
To gain access to the Saltheril's Soiree event, you must complete the Saltheril's Haven quest in Silvermoon City, followed by two additional quests (Honored Guests and High Esteem).
After that, you'll have the opportunity to pick up the weekly quests Fortify the Runestones and Favor of the Court each week. These reward you with a weekly cache, reputation with the Silvermoon Court and its sub-factions, and unlock additional faction weeklies. Increasing your reputation with these factions will grant you access to more quests.
As mentioned, the main reward you can get from the Salheril's Soiree activities is reputation with Silvermoon factions. In addition, you can acquire Brimming Arcana currency which is used for the exchange from the factions vendors and Saltheril's Favor which unlocks for you the additional weekly quests.
Finally, leveling reputation with the Silvermoon Court sub-factions gives you access to various cosmetic rewards you can see in our separate articles:
Zul’Aman event, The Abundance, challenges players to kill mobs, gather resources, and collect orbs in event caverns, farming the Unalloyed Abundance currency, used for event rewards. In the basic event mode, you can complete this activity in the cavern of every Midnight zone without the access to the event currency, while Abundant Harvest mode occurs in a rotating cavern that changes every eight hours and requires a Shard of Dundun to initiate and farm the Unalloyed Abundance.
Shards of Dundun can be obtained through gathering professions (including fishing), hunting Midnight treasures and rare mobs, or completing work orders. You’re limited to earning eight shards per week.
The main Midnight open-world event is a great source of the various cosmetic collectibles and profession upgrades. Among the most coveted ones you can find Amani Sunfeather and Blessed Amani Burrower mounts.
The exact list of all event rewards and its activities you can find in our Abundance Event Guide.
