Veteran Dawncrests can be farmed through Random Hard Prey, but that option is locked behind a bit of early Prey progression. To unlock it, you need to reach Prey Journey Level 2, which means clearing 1 Normal Prey and then 2 Hard Prey. After that, speak to Astalor Bloodsworn, start a random hunt, and select the Hard version. Each run costs 50 Remnant of Anguish, although a completed Prey usually gives enough value back that the loop stays sustainable.
