To obtain it, players must complete a demanding achievement that requires flawless clears of Torghast’s highest layers across all main wings. While this was a serious challenge during Shadowlands, modern power scaling makes it far more approachable today.
The Mawsworn Charger mount is obtained by completing the Flawless Master (Layer 12) achievement in Torghast.
This achievement requires a flawless run on Layer 12 of each of the six main Torghast wings. During Shadowlands this was considered extremely difficult, but in modern expansions the challenge is primarily about execution rather than raw power.
To gain access to Torghast, players must first complete the primary Shadowlands 9.0 campaign on at least one character. Upon pledging allegiance to a Covenant at the campaign's conclusion, you'll receive the introductory quest "The Highlord Calls", which serves as your gateway to the Maw and the mysteries of Torghast.
This essential quest chain gradually unveils the tower's mechanics and narrative significance, culminating in full access to all Torghast wings—including the challenging Twisting Corridors. Once completed, Torghast becomes permanently accessible from Ve'nari's Refuge in the Maw, providing a convenient entry point for all subsequent attempts at the Mawsworn Charger and other tower rewards.

Torghast allows both solo play and groups of up to five players.

Each layer consists of five floors. Floor 3 always contains a broker shop, while Floor 5 is the final boss encounter. Clearing everything on each floor is critical for achieving a flawless score.
To unlock higher layers, you must score at least 160 points (4 gems). A flawless run requires 200 points (5 gems). Points are determined by completion, time, Empowered bonuses, and deaths.
Completion is the most important factor. Kill all enemies, free all souls, and destroy as many urns as possible. Deaths — especially falling deaths — heavily penalize your score.
The Empowered bonus provides additional points for actions performed while empowered. Use it frequently.
