The Calamitous Carrion is the exclusive Season 1 Mythic+ mount in Midnight. It represents your achievement in midl-level dungeon play and becomes unobtainable once the season ends.

Unlike dungeon drop mounts, Calamitous Carrion is earned purely through performance. You must reach 2000+ Mythic+ rating during Midnight Season 1 to unlock the achievement Midnight Keystone Master: Season One .

How to Get Calamitous Carrion

To obtain Calamitous Carrion, you must accumulate at least 2000 Mythic+ score during Season 1.

Your rating is determined solely by your best completed run per dungeon. There is no longer a Fortified/Tyrannical split — only your highest-level timed (or completed) key for each dungeon counts toward your total score.

Based on Season 1 scoring, completing all eight dungeons at +7 difficulty results in approximately 2050 rating.

This means you do not need high-end pushes to +10 or beyond. A clean set of +7 timed keys across the full dungeon pool is sufficient to secure Midnight Keystone Master: Season One .

Why +7 Is the Sweet Spot

• Step 1 – Build a Baseline: Clear every dungeon at +5 to establish initial rating and get comfortable with mechanics.
• Step 2 – Upgrade to +7: Time each dungeon at +7 difficulty. This level provides enough rating across all 8 dungeons to exceed 2000 total score.
• Step 3 – Improve Weak Keys: If you fall slightly below 2000, increase your lowest-scoring dungeon to +8 or +9 instead of over-pushing already completed ones.
