The Blinding Vale Guide

Updated 24 Apr 2026 | Author: Kir | ~5 min

The Blinding Vale is the only Midnight dungeon tied to the Harandar zone and the history of the Haranir race. It becomes available to players during leveling through the specific quest The Blinding Vale: Lightbloom Roots, which you can complete at level 88. At level 90, the dungeon serves as an excellent source of high-tier gear and can even reward you with rare Harandar-themed housing decorations. In the guide below, you will learn everything you need to know about The Blinding Vale: its location, bosses, tactics, and detailed loot tables.

  • Added in patch: 12.0.0 "Midnight"
  • Instance type: Dungeon
  • Level: 80-90
  • Location: Harandar
  • Boss number: 4

The Blinding Vale Overview

The Blinding Vale is a searing garden, conjured in a single blinding moment — a twisted bastion where the Rutaani breed new nightmares under a mad command: thrive, overtake, and devour. Even after their fall in Eversong, Orweyna’s counterstrikes have only slowed the tide. Deep within the Vale’s merciless radiance, the Lightbloom’s cancerous growth rages on, unstoppable. During The Blinding Vale dungeon run players must break into the core of the Lightbloom’s fortress, shatter its advance and scour the Vale of every last hostile Rutaani.

During the Midnight Season One, the dungeon is available only in Normal and Heroic modes, but in the upcoming season it will become a part of the Mythic+ rotation.

The Blinding Vale Entrance

To find the entrance to The Blinding Vale, head to the mountains in the south-western part of Harandar zone (/way 26.4, 78.1). That's your entry point.

Once you've proven yourself by completing high-level keys in the future, you'll earn a major convenience: the ability to teleport your character directly to the dungeon entrance, skipping the overland trek entirely.

The Blinding Vale Tactics

Let's be honest — dungeon bosses are nowhere near the complexity of raid encounters. That said, we've put together a few quick tips below to help you get ready for your runs. Consider these bite-sized strategy notes your cheat sheet for staying alive.

Lightblossom Trinity Tactics

  • Soak the Lightblossoms that will appear during the fight.
  • Stay away from the Fertile Loam puddles on the ground.
  • Try to interrupt Kezkitt Light Bolt every time you can.
  • Tank and Healer should prepare their best defensive and healing options for the Bedrock Slam cast.

Ikuzz the Light Hunter Tactics

  • Stay away from the Bloodthorn Roots that swarm over the platform.
  • Stay away from the platform edges to not be knocked back after the Verdant Stomp.
  • Players under the Bloodthirsty Gaze should stay away from the boss and navigate him through the roots to clear the area.

Lightwarden Ruia Tactics

  • Spread during the Pulverizing Strikes to minimise the damage.
  • Try to interrupt the Warden's Wrath when Ruia uses Moonkin form every time you can.
  • Avoid the Lightfall circles on the ground.
  • Players under the Grievous Thrash stacks should be fully healed to remove the bleeding effect.

Ziekket Tactics

  • Try to kill the appearing Lightspawn Lashers as fast as you can.
  • Players under the Concentrated Lightbeam should stay on corpses of the Lashers to prevent adds from respawning.
  • Soak the Lightbloom's Essence to get damage and healing buff and prevent it from reaching the boss which leads to AoE damage to all players.
  • The tank should prepare the active mitigation for the Thornspike cast.
