Midnight Delves are not just a side activity you squeeze in between raids and Mythic+. A huge part of their value comes from knowing exactly what they can give you and when those rewards are actually worth chasing. Gear brackets, upgrade value, currencies, cosmetic drops, weekly reward structure, and long-term efficiency all matter, especially early in the season when time and resources feel tighter than they look. A lot of players clear Delves blindly, collect whatever drops, and only later realize they spent hours on rewards that did very little for their character.
This guide breaks down the full reward structure of Midnight Delves. You will learn which rewards matter most for player power, how Delve loot fits into the wider PvE progression route, what kinds of cosmetics and side rewards are available, how weekly reward systems shape your priorities, and which common misconceptions make Delves look better or worse than they really are. The goal is simple: show you what Midnight Delves can actually give you, where the real value sits, and how to target the rewards that move your character forward instead of wasting time on low-impact runs.
Season 1 Delves reward several currencies at once. Depending on the tier, chest type, and whether you are opening a standard Treasure Room cache or a Bountiful Delve chest, you can earn Dawncrests, Undercoin, Voidlight Marl, and gold. That makes Delves useful even when a direct item upgrade does not drop, since the run can still feed into upgrades, vendor rewards, or other long-term progression goals.
You receive gear every time you complete a Delve, which makes this activity a steady source of item upgrades even before you start looking at its higher-end reward brackets. On top of the end-of-run loot, Delves also have their own progression line in the Great Vault, giving you extra reward options with each weekly reset and making them much more relevant to your overall PvE route than a lot of players first assume.
Gear rewards from the end of Delves are capped at ilvl 227 (Adventurer 3/6) at Tier 3. To push beyond that ceiling, you need to enter Bountiful Delves, which are unlocked by using a Restored Coffer Key. That split matters, because standard Delves and Bountiful Delves do not offer the same long-term value, and knowing where the upgrade breakpoints sit helps you decide which tiers are worth your time each week.

Season 1 Delves add four mounts in total. Two are purchased from vendors as you progress through Delver's Journey, while the other two come from achievement rewards:
Silvermoon's Arcane Defender is a flying mount sold by Telemancer Astrandis. It becomes available at Delver's Journey Rank 5 and costs 10 Voidlight Marl. This version of the Arcane Guardian carries a more gilded Silvermoon look, the kind of enchanted defender you would expect to see stationed in the city's grander districts.
Elven Arcane Guardian is another flying mount, this time sold by Naleidea Rivergleam for 10.000 Undercoin. Its flavor text presents it as a construct sustained by arcane power and unwavering duty, made to protect rather than merely patrol.
Arcanovoid Construct is a flying mount earned by defeating Nullaeus on ?? difficulty. Its source is Let Me Solo Him: Nullaeus. The description frames it as an Arcane Guardian broken under the reach of the Void, warped badly enough that even a proud magical sentinel can be forced to submit.
Giganto Manis is a ground mount rewarded from Glory of the Midnight Delver. Its flavor text leans into myth: a colossal creature said to dwell deep within Azeroth itself, with claws powerful enough to pierce a dragon's heart and tear through armor that mortal smiths would call unbreakable.
Naleidea Rivergleam is one of the main Delve vendors at the Delve HQ in Silvermoon. She sells a mix of seasonal rewards, including toys, housing decor, cosmetics, and at least one mount tied to Delve progression.
Telemancer Astrandis is also located at the Delve HQ in Silvermoon. His stock focuses on Delver's Journey rewards, including unlock-based decor pieces, utility items, toys, and mount rewards that open up as your seasonal progress goes higher.

Midnight Delver's Flare Gun is unlocked at Delver's Journey Rank 7 and purchased from Telemancer Astrandis for 10 Voidlight Marl. Using it fires a flare that calls down a fellow delver to help you out, but the effect only works inside a Midnight Delve. The toy has a 1-hour cooldown.
Corewarden's Hearthstone is unlocked at Delver's Journey Rank 10 and bought from Naleidea Rivergleam for 10 Voidlight Marl. It returns you to your Hearthstone location through a void-themed rift effect. To change where it sends you, you need to speak with an Innkeeper and set a different home location first.
These achievements will only be available during Season 1 of Midnight and will become Feats of Strength with the release of Season 2.
