All Rewards From Delves in Midnight Season 2

Updated 14 Aug 2026 | Author: Dmitro | ~14 min

Midnight Season 2 Delves have three separate reward ceilings: the Bountiful Coffer at the end of a Delve, the Hidden Trove a Trovehunter's Bounty leads to, and the World row of the Great Vault. The ceilings diverge. A Tier 8 clear already reaches the seasonal item-level cap for all three, while Tiers 9-11 are mainly about Mistcrests, Delver's Journey bonuses, achievements, and Azta'rec.

The collectibles run on a different clock than the gear. Four mounts, three Patagia wing tints, two toys and a shelf of housing decor come out of this season, and most of them outlive it — Apophic Soul Crusher and the Fabled Vanquisher of Azta'rec title are the two that do not wait.

Midnight Season 2 Delve Rewards at a Glance

The table below shows the reward attached to each completed tier. Bountiful loot means the Bountiful Coffer opened with a Restored Coffer Key; the map column is the gear waiting in the Hidden Trove that a Trovehunter's Bounty leads you to.

Tier 8 is the gearing breakpoint. Raising a run from Tier 8 to Tier 11 does not improve its Bountiful item, map item, or regular Great Vault item, so push higher only when you need better Mistcrests, Journey Rank 4 stashes, the Tier 11 title, or access to Azta'rec Tier ??.

The First Season 2 Great Vault Is Different

Delves completed during the August 11 pre-season week count for the Season 2 Vault that opens on August 18. This first World row has a special cap — its best possible reward is item level 298, Champion 3/6, and a Tier 8 or Tier 11 clear cannot push that opening Vault to the normal 305 Hero 1/6 ceiling.

After that one-week exception, the World row uses the usual three-slot structure:

Vault Slot Requirement How Its Item Level Is Set
Slot 1 2 Delves or world activities Your highest qualifying activity
Slot 2 4 Delves or world activities Your fourth-highest qualifying activity
Slot 3 8 Delves or world activities Your eighth-highest qualifying activity

For three 305 options in a normal week, complete eight qualifying Tier 8-or-higher activities. One high clear does not lift the lower slots; the fourth and eighth results still matter.

The Delve locations, Valeera curio builds, and the Azta'rec fight itself are covered separately:

Season 2 Mistcrest Rewards by Delve Tier

The five Mistcrests earned from Midnight Season 2 Delves

Mistcrests upgrade Season 2 gear. Delves begin paying them at Tier 4, then move through Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, and Hero bands, while Myth Mistcrests enter the repeatable Delve loop through the Journey Rank 4 Gilded Stash rather than the normal tier chest.

Tier Base Reward All Nemesis Groups Defeated
Tiers 1-3 No Mistcrests -
Tier 4 4 Adventurer Mistcrests -
Tier 5 4 Veteran Mistcrests -
Tier 6 6 Veteran Mistcrests -
Tier 7 4 Champion Mistcrests -
Tier 8 6 Champion Mistcrests 5 additional Champion Mistcrests
Tier 9 8 Champion Mistcrests 5 additional Champion Mistcrests
Tier 10 10 Champion Mistcrests 5 additional Champion Mistcrests
Tier 11 15 Hero Mistcrests 5 additional Hero Mistcrests

The Nemesis bonus starts at Tier 8. Defeat every marked Nemesis group inside the Delve before opening the final reward room; if upgrade currency is the goal, that makes a complete Tier 11 worth more than rushing the boss and leaving the groups alive.

Azta'rec also has one-time Hero and Myth Mistcrest rewards that ignore the normal weekly crest cap.

Filling the weekly Mistcrest quota means repeat Tier 8-11 runs with every Nemesis group cleared before the reward room, and the cap resets on schedule whether or not you reach it. A crest farm covers that weekly volume when the clear time is the constraint.

Trovehunter's Bounty and Gilded Stash Rewards

A Trovehunter's Bounty is a map, not a chest upgrade. Using it leads you to a Hidden Trove holding equipment, bonus currencies, and a new or upgraded curio, and one is obtainable per character per week. It works from Tier 4 onward even though its gear keeps scaling until Tier 8. Using the weekly map on Tier 8 or higher gives item level 305 Hero 1/6 gear, so spending it below Tier 8 trades away part of its value.

You can obtain one map per week from any of these routes:

  • Defeat Azta'rec when the Nemesis turns up in a Delve.
  • Loot the Heavy Trunk at the end of a Bountiful Delve.
  • Complete the weekly Purging the Vaults quest.

The Scalebound Herald's Flute is the tool for the weeks he does not show. Playing it lures the Nemesis to your location, and it only works once you have activated an Abandoned Restoration Stone inside a Delve. It carries a one-hour cooldown, binds to your Warband, and stacks, so a stockpile covers several weeks of Nemesis hunting.

Gilded Stash at Journey Rank 4

Delver's Journey Rank 4 adds a Gilded Stash after a completed Tier 11 Delve, and it pays both Hero and Myth Mistcrest. It can be looted four times per week, and each stash includes 5 Myth Mistcrest, so four qualifying clears add 20 to the weekly Delve route.

This is the main reason to keep running Tier 11 after Tier 8 has capped the gear table. Before Rank 4, Tier 11 is a Hero-Mistcrest and achievement tier; after Rank 4, it also becomes a repeatable Myth-Mistcrest stop.

Season 2 Delver's Journey Rewards

The Season 2 Delver's Journey has ten ranks and resets independently of the Season 1 track. Its best rewards are not all cosmetic: Rank 4 adds the Gilded Stash, Rank 6 adds weekly key purchases, Rank 8 adds Champion Warbound drops, and Rank 9 can turn high Bountiful clears into Hero-track gear.

Rank Season 2 Reward
Rank 1
Boons and Blessings
Boons can drop from Mislaid Curiosities and Blessings from Heavy Trunks. Fortified Amani Awning decor unlocks.
Rank 2
Gift of Pestilence
A Corrosive Reticule holding 6 Corrosive Souls unlocks at Telemancer Astrandis.
Rank 3
Treasure Hunter
A Shrine of Abundance can appear inside a Bountiful Delve. Effigy of Dundun unlocks.
Rank 4
Gilded Jackpot
A Gilded Stash appears after Tier 11, up to four times weekly. Zul'Aman Brazier Post decor unlocks.
Rank 5
An Ethereal and a Snake walk into a Delve
Mislaid Curiosities gain another chance to contain Boons. Zah'ran begins selling Champion gear from week 3. The Corroded Soul Crusher mount unlocks.
Rank 6
Keys and Coffers
Naleidea Rivergleam sells 2 Restored Coffer Keys per week. Amani Territorial Totem decor unlocks.
Rank 7
Delve-O-Bot 7001 Update
The Midnight Software Update Chip adds Midnight Delves to Delve-O-Bot 7001's destination list.
Rank 8
Warbound in Blood
Champion Warbound equipment can drop from Tier 9 and above. Ula'tek Ritual Stone decor unlocks.
Rank 9
From Champion to Hero
Tier 11 Bountiful Coffers gain a chance at Hero gear or Untainted Mana-Crystals. Tiers 8-10 award smaller amounts of Untainted Mana-Crystals.
Rank 10
A Delver's Journey
Unlocks the Snake Eater title and increases Coffer Key Shards earned from every source.

Do not treat Rank 4 as a decoration stop: once it is unlocked, leaving the four weekly Tier 11 stashes unclaimed means leaving 20 Myth Mistcrests behind. Rank 9 is the other power spike, because it is the point where the Bountiful chest itself can roll above its normal Champion 2/6 table entry.

Season 2 Delve Mounts and Collectibles

Apophic Soul Crusher mount from Midnight Season 2 Delves

Season 2 spreads its collectibles across a solo challenge, the Journey vendor, a hidden chest, a short quest line, and one long-running meta. The source matters more than the price: only the Azta'rec solo reward asks for a Tier ?? clear, and only one of these resets when the season does.

Reward Type Source
Apophic Soul Crusher Mount Let Me Solo Him: Azta'rec; defeat him in his lair on Tier ?? with no other players in your party.
Corroded Soul Crusher Mount Journey Rank 5, then 10 Voidlight Marl at Telemancer Astrandis.
Delver's Arcane Golem Mount Sturdy Chest inside the Gnarldor Isle Delve.
Giganto Manis Mount Glory of the Midnight Delver; the Delve meta, one of whose four parts Season 2 completes.
Apophic Patagia Back cosmetic My Venomous Nemesis; defeat Azta'rec in his lair during Season 2.
Ophidian Patagia Back cosmetic 2,500 Undercoin at Naleidea Rivergleam.
Corroded Patagia Back cosmetic The third wing tint; no vendor and no achievement grants it.
Corrosive Victory Toy Fangs for the Memories; emanates an aura of victory.
Effigy of Dundun Toy Journey Rank 3, then 10 Voidlight Marl.
Well Urned Rest Gravestone 2,000 Undercoin; unlocks the option at the Delver's Headquarters.

Midnight Season 2 Delve Mounts

Four mounts, four completely different asks. The golem is a ten-minute detour, the Corroded Soul Crusher is a Journey rank you will pass anyway, and the Apophic Soul Crusher is the one real wall. Giganto Manis is the long game — the reward for the Midnight Delve meta rather than for anything Season 2 asks on its own.

The golem deserves a special mention because it barely counts as content. The Gnarldor Isle Delve sits on the southern part of the Coiled Isle and opens into a wide space, so you can walk in, take the mount, and walk back out without completing anything. Its Sturdy Chest sits on a ruined tower ledge beside a staircase in the middle of the Delve.

Delver's Arcane Golem: /way 60 68 inside the Gnarldor Isle Delve. The chest is on the tower ledge next to the central staircase, and looting it does not require finishing the run.

Giganto Manis and the Delve Meta

Glory of the Midnight Delver hands over Giganto Manis, and Season 2 quietly closes one of its four criteria. That is the part players miss: the meta does not care which Nemesis you killed, only that you killed the seasonal one, so My Venomous Nemesis ticks the same box that Season 1's Nullaeus kill did. The other three parts run across the whole expansion:

Season 2 is the cheapest window this meta will ever have. The Nemesis criterion is a single kill on any difficulty, and the new Gnarldor Isle chests are being swept by everyone chasing the golem anyway.

Season 2 Delve Transmog

The Patagia wings are one back attachment in three tints, and each tint comes from a completely different place. Red is the Nemesis kill and blue is a straight Undercoin purchase. Green is the odd one out, because no vendor stocks it and no achievement hands it over.

All three are Warband-bound cosmetics that go straight into the appearance collection, so one character can bank the whole set. Buy the Ophidian version whenever Undercoin allows — it is the only one of the three with a price rather than a condition.

The Fabled title closes far sooner. Fabled Vanquisher of Azta'rec requires the same no-other-players Tier ?? kill during the first week of Season 2, which is the tightest deadline anywhere in the Delve reward set. The Apophic Soul Crusher remains tied to the seasonal solo achievement without that first-week restriction.

The Tier ?? solo kill is the only Season 2 Delve reward with a real execution wall. If the Apophic Soul Crusher or the opening-week Fabled title is the target, an Azta'rec challenge run covers the achievement condition without spending the limited window on repeated progression attempts.

New Season 2 Delve Vendor Rewards

Both vendors stand in the Delver's Headquarters in Silvermoon City. Naleidea Rivergleam remains the Undercoin vendor, while Telemancer Astrandis handles everything the Delver's Journey unlocks, priced in Voidlight Marl and gated behind the rank that opens each item. The table lists the Season 2 additions rather than repeating the permanent Season 1 catalog, which both vendors still stock.

The four 250-Marl decorations are separate purchases. Reaching the relevant Journey rank unlocks the item; it does not place the decor in your collection automatically.

Midnight Season 2 Delve Achievements and Titles

The normal-tier ladder begins at Tier 4. Each achievement requires a clear with lives remaining and opens the next tier, while Tier 11 finishes the sequence with the High Explorer title.

Achievement Requirement Reward or Purpose
Midnight Delves: Tier 4 Clear Tier 4 with lives remaining. Unlocks Tier 5.
Midnight Delves: Tier 5 Clear Tier 5 with lives remaining. Unlocks Tier 6.
Midnight Delves: Tier 6 Clear Tier 6 with lives remaining. Unlocks Tier 7.
Midnight Delves: Tier 7 Clear Tier 7 with lives remaining. Unlocks Tier 8 and Azta'rec Tier ?.
Midnight Delves: Tier 8 Clear Tier 8 with lives remaining. Unlocks Tier 9.
Midnight Delves: Tier 9 Clear Tier 9 with lives remaining. Unlocks Tier 10.
Midnight Delves: Tier 10 Clear Tier 10 with lives remaining. Unlocks Tier 11 and Azta'rec Tier ??.
Midnight Delves: Tier 11 Clear Tier 11 with lives remaining. High Explorer title.
My Venomous Nemesis Defeat Azta'rec in his lair during Season 2. Apophic Patagia; also the Nemesis part of the Delve meta.
Purging the Poison Defeat Azta'rec in his lair on Tier ??. the Poisonous title.
Let Me Solo Him: Azta'rec Defeat him in his lair on Tier ?? with no other players in your party. Apophic Soul Crusher mount.
Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Azta'rec Complete the same solo-party kill during the first week of Season 2. Fabled Vanquisher of Azta'rec title.
Gnarldor Isle Discoveries Find and open every Sturdy Chest hidden in Gnarldor Isle. Feeds Midnight: Leave No Treasure Unfound.
Glory of the Midnight Delver Complete the four Midnight Delve criteria, including the seasonal Nemesis kill. Giganto Manis mount.
Midnight: Journey's End Complete the Season 2 Delver's Journey before the season ends. Seasonal Journey completion.

The Journey, tier, and Azta'rec achievements are seasonal, so prioritize the Fabled title because its window closes after the opening week, then finish Journey's End before Season 2 ends. Mount hunters can take longer with the standard Let Me Solo Him achievement, but it still belongs to the Season 2 track. Only the two Delve-meta entries ignore the seasonal clock entirely — Gnarldor Isle Discoveries and Glory of the Midnight Delver stay completable after Season 2 closes.

Midnight Season 2 Delve Rewards FAQ

What is the best Delve tier for gear in Season 2?

Tier 8. It reaches the maximum Bountiful reward at item level 295 Champion 2/6 and the maximum regular Trovehunter's Bounty and Great Vault rewards at item level 305 Hero 1/6.

Do Tier 9, 10, and 11 Delves give better gear?

Not from the standard Bountiful, map, or Great Vault tables. Higher tiers improve Mistcrest rewards and unlock Journey, achievement, and Azta'rec goals, while Journey Rank 9 can add a chance at Hero gear to Tier 11 Bountiful Coffers.

How many Delves are needed for all three Great Vault slots?

The World row unlocks at 2, 4, and 8 qualifying activities. Complete eight Tier 8-or-higher activities in a normal week to make all three choices reach the 305 Hero 1/6 Delve ceiling.

Can you earn Season 2 Delve gear before August 18?

Bountiful Delves and Restored Coffer Keys are disabled during the August 11 pre-season week. Normal Delves count toward the first Season 2 Great Vault, but that opening World row is capped at item level 298 Champion 3/6 and can first be claimed on August 18.

Which mounts come from Midnight Season 2 Delves?

Four. Delver's Arcane Golem sits in a Sturdy Chest inside the Gnarldor Isle Delve, Corroded Soul Crusher costs 10 Voidlight Marl at Journey Rank 5, Apophic Soul Crusher comes from the solo Tier ?? Azta'rec kill, and Giganto Manis is the Glory of the Midnight Delver meta reward that this season's Nemesis kill helps complete.

What happens to Delve rewards when Season 2 ends?

The tier achievements, the Journey, and the Azta'rec Feats of Strength all close with the season. The collectibles mostly do not: the golem, the vendor cosmetics, the housing decor, and the Delve meta with Giganto Manis stay available afterwards. The Fabled Vanquisher of Azta'rec title is the one hard deadline, since it only counts during the opening week.
