Maisara Caverns Guide

Maisara Caverns is one of two dungeons located in the Zul'Aman zone, exclusive to the Midnight update. You'll gain access to this instance — and the related quest Maisara Caverns: Maisara Hungers — once you reach level 83. At level 90, the dungeon becomes an excellent source of top-tier gear, rare profession patterns, and unique decor items. Maisara Caverns Overview

Deep within the sacred Maisara Hills, the Vilebranch trolls are corrupting the land into a nexus of death. Their brutal rituals involve sacrificing Witherbark prisoners to fuel dark necromancy — all in an effort to summon Rak'tul, a terrifying dire troll whose awakening would unleash chaos across Zul'Aman. If left unchecked, this growing nightmare won't stay contained for long. During Maisara Caverns dungeon run, players push deep into this once-holy Amani site and clear out the Vilebranch war parties and their undead abominations.

During the Midnight Season One, the dungeon is available in all possible difficulties including the Mythic+ keys. The Mythic+ timer for the Maisara Caverns is 33:00.

Maisara Caverns Entrance

To find the entrance to Maisara Caverns, go underground in the northeast part of Zul’Aman, where you can find the corresponding catacombs (/way 44.4 40.3). That's your entry point.

Once you've proven yourself by completing high-level keys, you'll earn a major convenience: the ability to teleport your character directly to the dungeon entrance, skipping the overland trek entirely.

Maisara Caverns Tactics

Let's be honest — dungeon bosses are nowhere near the complexity of raid encounters. That said, we've put together a few quick tips below to help you get ready for your runs. Consider these bite-sized strategy notes your cheat sheet for staying alive.

Muro'jin and Nekraxx Tactics

• The both bosses should be defeated at the same time.
• Players under Carrion Swoop should step right into a Freezing Trap.
• The goals of Barrage should stay their places and use defensive abilities, while all others should run away.

Vordaza Tactics

• Kite the appearing adds in two separate stacks to easily detonate them and prevent a bigger amount of damage.
• During intermission, avoid the orbs and destroy the shield.

Rak'tul Tactics

• Player under the Crush Souls should stay near allies and avoid the leaps.
• During intermission, you should run to the boss avoiding the ghosts.
• Use your interrupts, CC, and displace on adds to blast them down and increase your damage.
