K’aresh is dotted with a wide array of treasures scattered all over the island. Some are straightforward pickups, while others require you to follow several steps before they will open. In this guide, we mark every location and explain, step by step, how to claim each treasure!
If you manage to collect every treasure hidden across K’aresh, the game rewards your thorough sweep with the achievement Treasures of K’aresh — proof that you searched every shoreline and ruin, solved the multi-step locks, and wrapped up the entire route from start to finish.
K’aresh Treasure Types
K’aresh features two distinct classes of treasure. First are the “normal” treasures — the familiar chests, satchels, and stashes you’ll recognize from Khaz Algar. These sit in the island’s baseline phase and can be found by standard exploration: hugging cliff edges, poking into caves, scanning ruined courtyards, and following the usual breadcrumb interactions. Think of them as classic open-world finds that reward thorough map coverage and a good eye.
The second group are Phase Diving Treasures, which only exist while you’re in the Phase Diving version of K’aresh. Outside of that state they’re simply not there, so you’ll need to shift phases to reveal and loot them. Many share rough coordinates with normal-world spots but become reachable only after the phase shift, encouraging you to plan loops that deliberately toggle Phase Diving on and off.

Normal K’aresh Treasures
There are a total of 14 normal K’aresh Treasures scattered across the island. We’ll list each one with coordinates, approach notes, and any minor unlock steps so you can clear the set efficiently:
Ancient Coffer
Obtaining this treasure requires three steps, even though the Ancient Coffer’s eventual resting place is visible right from the outset.
- Pick up the Battered Book at the broken-down caravan just north of the Lunnall River phase conduit (66.5, 44.7).
- Grab the Submerged Bottle underwater near the upper lip of one of the Oasis waterfalls (76.2, 31.2).
- Open the Ancient Coffer on the upper floor of a ruined tower in Castigaar (60.9, 38.3).
Reward: Mr. Long-Legs.
Gift of the Brothers
To unlock this chest, you’ll run a short lantern-guided scavenger hunt in the Merciless Wastes:
- At the graveyard in the Merciless Wastes, interact with the Flickering Lantern to gain it's buff and speak with Ihya to start the search (76.0, 45.2).
- Locate M'alim by the Eco-Dome Rhovan flight path (69.8, 60.5).
- Find Naji patrolling the Merciless Wastes just north of Lunnall River (68.3, 45.2).
- Find Sahra patrolling just south of the Oasis (75.4, 39.8).
- Return to Ihya, hand back the lantern to spawn the chest, then loot the Gift of the Brothers (76.0, 45.2).
Reward: The Brothers' Final Gift.
Forlorn Wind Chime
- Collect the Forlorn Wind Chime hanging from a fallen tree on the ruins of Eco-Dome Rhovan (69.7, 52.3).
Reward: Reshii Crystal Fragments.
Mailroom Distribution
- Outside the Tazavesh mail room, click the Mail Overflow to gain the Mail Overflow buff (47.8, 62.5).
- Head inside and deposit the overflow on each of the four spots marked with swirlies.
- After all four are cleared, a chest spawns by the mail room entrance — loot the Mailroom Distribution.
Reward: P.O.S.T. Master's Express Hearthstone.
Ixthar's Favorite Crystal
- Pick up Ixthar's Favorite Crystal from the ground at the center of the void-glass zone in the Tempest Fields (64.0, 43.9).
Reward: Reshii Crystal Fragments.
Wastelander Stash
- Loot the Wastelander Stash inside a cave in Castigaar (60.5, 42.1).
Reward: Well-Preserved Wrappings.
Tumbled Package
- Loot the Tumbled Package on a small floating islet just north of Tazavesh (65.3, 63.6).
Reward: Tazavesh Shipping Manifest, 10x Desolate Talus.
Rashaal's Vase
- Enter the cave along the Lunnall River using the entrance at (68.8, 47.8) and loot Rashaal's Vase inside.
Reward: Long-Pressed Flowers, 10x Phantom Bloom.
Shattered Crystals
- Pick up the Shattered Crystals on the mountaintop south of the North Sufaad phase conduit (75.0, 55.3).
Reward: Reshii Crystal Fragments.
Skeletal Tail Bones
- Loot the Skeletal Tail Bones beneath a massive rock outcrop just northeast of the Oasis (77.7, 27.9).
Reward: Ixthal the Observling.
Crudely Stitched Sack
- Loot the Crudely Stitched Sack on a small floating isle just north of Shan’dorah (58.6, 34.3).
Reward: Tazavesh Lookout's Mace, Off-Balance Mace of the Tazavesh Lookout.
Abandoned Lockbox
- Open the Abandoned Lockbox beside a dead tree a short walk south of the Naakroa phase conduit (59.7, 53.7).
The Abandoned Lockbox Treasure can also appear in other spots across K’aresh. It seems to replace one of the Ethereal Pocket-Storage spawns. The quickest approach is to run loops around Naakroa, looting every Ethereal Pocket-Storage you encounter until the Abandoned Lockbox shows up.
Reward: Voidstorm Obsidian, 2x Time-Worn Memento, 2x Ethereal Pylon Conduit.
Lightly-Dented Luggage
- Check the Lightly-Dented Luggage next to a table in Hosaas' Rest (53.7, 64.0).
Reward: Currently Unknown.
Sand-Worn Coffer
- Loot the Sand-Worn Coffer atop a rocky outcrop overlooking the Untethered Space phase conduit (54.4, 24.4).
Reward: Desperate Defender's Bladed Staff, Cracked Staff of the Desperate Defender.
Phase Diving K'Aresh Treasures
13 Phase Diving Treasures are tucked away in the phased version of K’aresh, to see them you'll need at least rank 5 on your Reshii Wraps cloak. This section breaks down each find with coordinates, route suggestions, and small prerequisites, helping you clear the phased layer cleanly in a single pass.

Ethereal Voidforged Container
- In the Ruins of Yaathron, climb the cracked wall and finish a short jumping puzzle to reach the Ethereal Voidforged Container (52.0, 68.4). Also grants the Jump, Jump, and Away! achievement when looted.
Reward: Buckler of the Last Stand, Shattered Buckler of the Last Stand.
Light-Soaked Cleaver
- On the western side of the Serrated Peaks Shadowguard camp, beside the Serrated Peaks phase conduit, pick up the Light-Soaked Cleaver (52.4, 46.6).
Reward: Light-Soaked Cleaver, Light-Dimmed Cleaver.
Spear of Fallen Memories
- By the graveyard west of Tazavesh, loot the Spear of Fallen Memories; it’s easiest if you use an Untethered X’ybucha at the spot, reachable from the Tazavesh phase conduit (23.7, 46.8).
Reward: Spear of Fallen Memories, Spear of Forgotten Memories.
Efrat's Forgotten Bulwark
- Under a bridge in North Sufaad, a little east of the North Sufaad phase conduit, loot Efrat's Forgotten Bulwark (78.0, 48.9).
Reward: Efrat's Forgotten Bulwark, Efrat's Totally Abandoned Bulwark.
Tulwar of the Golden Guard
- By a caravan wagon in the Ruins of Yaathron, just north of the Ruins of Yaathron phase conduit, pick up the Tulwar of the Golden Guard (51.0, 65.1). Counts toward the We've All Got Swords! achievement.
Reward: Tulwar of the Golden Guard, Tulwar of the Pyrite Guard.
Petrified Branch of Janaa
- On a floating islet south of North Sufaad, reach and loot the Petrified Branch of Janaa (78.3, 61.5) — either glide in with a Goblin Glider Kit or use an Untethered X’ybucha on the island.
Reward: Petrified Branch of Janaa, Petrified Twig of the Fennad.
Shadowguard Crusher
- Inside the Torment manaforge at Shadow Point, claim the Shadowguard Crusher (49.1, 18.0).
Reward: Shadowguard Crusher, Shadowguard Bonker.
Sufaadi Skiff Lantern
- Grab the Sufaadi Skiff Lantern from the side of a broker skiff parked in North Sufaad; using an Untethered X’ybucha on the boat makes it easy (80.7, 52.6).
Reward: Sufaadi Skiff Lantern, Sufaadi Skiff Candle.
Korgorath's Talon
- Pick up Korgorath's Talon from the ground in the middle of the voidglass section of the Tempest Fields (64.4, 42.7).
Reward: Korgorath's Talon, Korgorath's Broken Nail.
Warglaive of the Audacious Hunter
- Inside a cave in the Fracture of Lacuuna: enter at (56.8, 24.1) and loot the Warglaive of the Audacious Hunter.
Reward: Warglaive of the Audacious Hunter, Warglaive of the Subdued Tracker.
P.O.S.T. Master's Prototype Parcel and Postage Presser
- Inside the Tazavesh mailroom, loot the P.O.S.T. Master's Prototype Parcel and Postage Presser (47.4, 69.8).
Reward: P.O.S.T. Master's Prototype Parcel and Postage Presser, P.O.S.T. Employee's Backup Stamp.
Phaseblade of the Void Marches
- On the lower ledge of Overlook Zo'Shuul, pick up the Phaseblade of the Void Marches (50.8, 35.3). Counts toward the We've All Got Swords! achievement.
Reward: Phaseblade of the Void Marches, Blade of the Void Swamp.
Bladed Rifle of Unfettered Momentum
- On a small islet northeast of Tazavesh, loot the Bladed Rifle of Unfettered Momentum (70.0, 70.9). Reach it by gliding with a Goblin Glider Kit or by using an Untethered X’ybucha on the island.
Reward: Bladed Rifle of Unfettered Momentum, Rifle of Leaden Movement.
