Sinrunner Blanchy isn’t just another mount — she’s one of the most memorable and unique companions you can earn in Shadowlands. Found haunting the crimson roads of Revendreth, this ghostly horse has a tragic backstory and a special bond waiting to be forged. Unlike most mounts, Blanchy isn’t a random drop or a simple purchase. Instead, she requires real care and attention over the course of six days, turning the process of earning her into a personal story.
Earning Blanchy is a journey that feels truly rewarding, turning her into a true companion rather than just another digital trophy. To help you through this unique farming experience, here’s a step-by-step guide along with some tips to make the process even smoother:
Sinrunner Blanchy - How To Obtain The Mount
Blanchy spawns in Revendreth’s Endmire (around coordinates 63.2, 43.0) approximately once every 1–2 hours, and she runs along the river when she appears. She only stays spawned for about 5 minutes each time, so you’ll need to catch her when she’s up. If she runs into you (or you intercept her path), she’ll stop and you can then interact with her.
You'll need to plan to visit Blanchy on six different days (the quests reset daily and you can do only one step per day). You can collect all required items ahead of time to save effort later – this is highly recommended so you’re not scrambling for items each day. Also note that multiple players can interact with Blanchy each time she spawns, so you won’t lose your chance if someone else gets to her first, as long as you click her before she despawns.
Day-by-day Sinrunner Blanchy farm:
- Day 1 – Gather Handfuls of Oats: On the first encounter, Blanchy will be hungry. You need to feed her 8× Handful of Oats. These oats can be found in Westfall (Eastern Kingdoms) at Saldean’s Farm. Look for small sacks of oats on the ground around the farm. They respawn quickly, so farming eight isn’t too hard. Once you have 8 oats, go to Revendreth and wait for Dead Blanchy to spawn. When she appears, intercept her and feed her the oats. This completes the first day’s task.
- Day 2 – Find a Grooming Brush: Blanchy will next want to be groomed. On the second day, bring her a Grooming Brush. This item is sold by an NPC named Snickersnee in Darkhaven, Revendreth (around 63.3, 61.7 in Revendreth). Talk to Snickersnee and buy the Grooming Brush. Now, intercept Blanchy during her spawn window and offer the brush to groom her. That completes day two.
- Day 3 – Shoe Blanchy’s Hooves: On day three, Blanchy needs new horseshoes. You must collect 4× Sturdy Horseshoes for her. These horseshoes are found as Discarded Horseshoes on the ground near the roads around Darkhaven in Revendreth. Check the roads and path edges in the area; the horseshoes sparkle on the ground and you can pick them up. They are scattered but not too far from the Darkhaven inn. Once you’ve gathered four horseshoes, wait for Blanchy and give her the 4 horseshoes when she spawns (you don’t need a blacksmith; the quest will accept the items directly). After this, Blanchy now has fresh shoes and day three is done.
- Day 4 – Bring Clean Water: After food and grooming, Blanchy will be thirsty on day four. First, find an Empty Water Bucket in Revendreth. There’s usually a bucket lying near the water trough in Darkhaven (around 63.3, 61.6 in Revendreth). Pick up the empty bucket. Next, you need to fill it with clean water (Revendreth’s water is filthy, so Blanchy won’t drink that). Travel to either Bastion or Ardenweald (Shadowlands zones with clean water). Find any river, lake, or pool of water in those zones, then use the Empty Water Bucket in your inventory while standing in the water – it will convert to a Bucket of Clean Water. With the filled bucket, return to Revendreth and await Blanchy’s spawn. Intercept her and give the Bucket of Clean Water to quench her thirst, completing day four.
- Day 5 – Get a Saddle Blanket: On the fifth day, Blanchy wants a comfortable ride. You need a Comfortable Saddle Blanket. This item is sold by Ta’tru, a special vendor in Revendreth located at the Night Market in the south (around 51.0, 78.8 in Revendreth). However, Ta’tru doesn’t take gold – he barters for various materials and his required currency changes each week. When you visit him, check what items he’s asking for in exchange for the Comfortable Saddle Blanket. Bring the required trade goods to buy the blanket. Once you have the Comfortable Saddle Blanket, go to Blanchy’s spawn area and place the blanket on Blanchy when she appears. Now she’s nicely saddled – day five done!
- Final Day - Feed Some Apples: The final task is to give Blanchy a treat. On day six, bring 3× Dredhollow Apple. These are sold by an NPC named Mims at the "Hole in the Wall" inn, which is in western Revendreth (around 40.8, 46.7). Purchase at least three Dredhollow Apples from Mims. With the apples in hand, go intercept Blanchy one last time to feed her the apples. After giving the apples, you’ll complete the final quest and Blanchy will reward you by finally granting Blanchy’s Reins, teaching you the Sinrunner Blanchy mount!
These six interactions do not have to be on consecutive days, but you can only do one per day (there’s a 24-hour cooldown on Blanchy’s tasks for each character). If you miss a day or take a break, your progress isn’t lost – simply continue when you can, doing whichever day’s task you left off at. Just remember you’ll need a total of six spawn encounters on six different days minimum.
Blanchy’s spawn timer is roughly every 2 hours and she spawns only for 5 minutes, so you'll need to camp her A LOT every day. We can help you skip the time-consuming grind and get the mount fast!
