Players exploring Undermine in the War Within expansion will quickly encounter four Cartels, allowing heroes of Azeroth to grind reputation and unlock cosmetic rewards. However, there is a fifth, secret Cartel — Darkfuse Solutions — which becomes available after completing the Liberation of Undermine raid. It’s well-known for its rare rewards, including the Darkfuse Demolisher mount and the already iconic Darkfuse Lowdown Coat chest transmog.

Darkfuse Solutions is part of the Cartels of Undermine, a renown faction from The War Within — a goblin coalition formed to overthrow Jastor Gallywix. The main feature of this faction is that each week you choose a cartel to work with, earning reputation with both the overall Cartels faction and the specific cartel you selected. There are four sub-factions you can ally with:
The faction’s central hub is the Incontinental Hotel, while each cartel also has its own base for quests and renown rewards.
Darkfuse Solutions is a former ally of Gallywix, and this sub-faction differs from the other cartels. First, you have to meet specific requirements to unlock it. Second, you can’t choose it for the weekly reputation farm in the same way as the other four. Darkfuse Solutions has a unique reputation grind based on activities in the Undermine zone.
As mentioned, the Darkfuse Solutions cartel isn’t available right away. To gain access to reputation leveling and its rewards, you need to complete several steps:

The only way to level your reputation with the fifth Undermine cartel is through the Box of Darkfuse Miscellany, which you can purchase from Sitch Lowdown for 100 Market Research. Each Box of Darkfuse Miscellany grants 500 reputation points with Darkfuse Solutions, and in total you’ll need 8,400 Market Research.
Every time you kill normal Undermine mobs or loot Shiny Trash Can, you have a chance to loot 1 Market Research. But there are some guaranteed ways to obtain the currency: normal rare Undermine enemies (1–2 Market Research), Cartel rare Undermine enemies (3–4 Market Research), elite rare Undermine enemies (5–6 Market Research), Darkfuse Precipitant (12–14 Market Research), and S.C.R.A.P. dig event chest (14–16 Market Research).
