How to Get to Operation: Floodgate

The entrance to Operation: Floodgate is located deep within the industrial sector of The Ringing Deeps. It is situated at the base of the massive hydroelectric dam in the Waterworks sub-zone. Players can reach the instance quickly via the Season 3 portal network or by flying from the main city.

The Fastest Route (Season 3 Portal):

• Dornogal Portal: Take the direct portal located in the Dornogal Mythic+ hub (near the Great Vault). The portal is easily identifiable by the high-pressure steam visual effects surrounding the gateway. This transports you directly to the instance meeting stone.

The Manual Route (Flight):

• Fly to The Ringing Deeps from Dornogal (using the Coreway descent).

• Length & Pacing: Medium length & fast. Once you step into the Waterworks, this is very much a "Hold W" dungeon: you mostly move forward with just a few routing choices instead of elaborate skips. The Mythic+ timer is on the stricter side, so wipes to environmental traps or pauses between pulls quickly put you behind.
• Difficulty Level: Medium-High (Movement Heavy). While the raw damage intake is reasonable, the mechanical punishment is severe. Most deaths here come from players being shoved or baited into electrified water, bombs, and other ground effects rather than being one-shot by boss abilities.
