All K'aresh Rares Locations and Rewards

Updated 22 Aug 2025 | Author: Dmitro | ~6 min

Across K’aresh — the star-scarred desert where dunes hum like cooled glass — Rare foes wander between mirage and ruin. They carry coveted loot and a mosaic of rewards, the kind that turn dust into legend and travelers into collectors of shining stories.

Open this guide and walk by starlit bearings. We’ll show exactly where to find each K’aresh Rare Mob and how to bring it down: clear paths, keen signs, and sure steps — so every hunt ends with victory and spoils!

Who Are The K'aresh Rares

K’aresh is packed with rares, 19 in total to hunt across the zone. Few behave like ordinary rares on rotating timers, while a subset exists only when the sands "shift" during Phase Diving. Think of two overlapping layers of the same desert: in the normal phase you’ll sweep fixed spawn clusters; in the phased layer, new names step out of the mirage.

Every kill awards Valorstones and rolls on a loot table aligned to your current specialization, with a real chance at progression gear. You can claim the full reward from each rare only once per day; after that, the main loot won’t repeat until the next reset. A few are flagged as Rare Elites — longer respawns, sturdier mechanics, smoother with a small group. An achievement tracks the whole hunt (Remnants of a Shattered World).

When defeated, rares grant Valorstones and can also drop gear tailored to your specialization. Each K’aresh rare can be looted for its rewards only once per day, with a few Rare Elite exceptions. There’s also an achievement for slaying every K’aresh rare, Remnants of a Shattered World.

Practical hunting tips: time your Phase Diving windows so each zone loop includes a pass through the alternate layer; carry an interrupt and a defensive — most K'aresh Rares are soloable, but elites hit like mini-bosses. Use our maps below to route between clusters, and you’ll turn the desert’s silence into a steady flow of kills, valorstones, and gear.

The rares listed below are available only during the normal K’aresh phase:

Normal K'aresh Rares

The five ordinary K’aresh Rares live in the normal layer and pop at fixed, easy-to-loop spots around markets, ruins, and dune edges. They’re quick, solo-friendly targets that can award useful, spec-appropriate gear. Each counts once per day, so a short circuit through these five makes a dependable routine and pushes progress toward Remnants of a Shattered World.

Heka'tamos 75.4, 30.4 Oasis Heka'Tarnos, Bringer of Discord In the center of the Oasis; gather the four Oasis buffs, then use the Brazier of Elemental Union at the marked spot to spawn.
Malek'ta 53.8, 59.2 Naakroa Palek'ti, the Mouth of Nothingness Near an abandoned caravan; gain the Noticing You sand-swirl buff and jump several times to call it forth.

Phase Diving K'aresh Rares

The 14 Phase Diving rares exist only in K’aresh’s alternate layer and appear while you’re phased. Many patrol wide arcs, perch on platforms, or hover above the sands, so routing here is about timing — watch the phase windows, portals, conduits, and common landing points!

Each can be claimed once per day like their normal-phase counterparts. Use the map to chain platform hubs and patrol paths into a single loop so you catch spawns as they cycle through.
