Halls of Atonement Mythic+ Guide

Updated 24 Nov 2025 | Author: Dmitro | ~5 min

Halls of Atonement resurfaces from the Shadowlands, bringing the gothic grandeur of Revendreth back to the Mythic+ scene. This sprawling Venthyr cathedral is teeming with Anima-starved gargoyles, dark ritualists, and restless spirits. Known for its high enemy density and the ability to execute massive "chain pulls," it remains a favorite for tanks who enjoy pushing the limits of their survivability.

The dungeon’s mechanic revolves around the Loyal Stoneborn, which Venthyr players can charm to turn the tide of battle. Success in the Halls requires intimate knowledge of the Curse of Stone mechanics and the deadly projectile attacks of the High Adjudicator’s minions. Prepare to repent for your sins — or purge them with steel and spell. Below is the optimized route for Halls of Atonement.

How to Get to Halls of Atonement

The entrance to Halls of Atonement is located in the Revendreth zone (Shadowlands), situated in the eastern part of Revendreth. It is a massive Venthyr cathedral complex. Since this is a legacy dungeon returning for the Season 3 rotation, players have access to a dedicated portal in the current capital to bypass the Shadowlands travel systems.

How to Get to Halls of Atonement

The Fastest Route (Season 3 Portal):

  • Dornogal Portal: Take the direct portal located in the Dornogal Mythic+ hub (near the Great Vault). The gateway is typically framed by red anima clouds and gothic stone visuals. This transports you directly to the meeting stone in Revendreth.

The Manual Route (via Oribos):

  • Travel to Oribos (Shadowlands Hub) via the portal room in Stormwind or Orgrimmar.
  • Take the Flight Path to Revendreth. The closest flight point is Wanecrypt Hill.
  • From Wanecrypt Hill, fly North towards the large citadel structure. The meeting stone is located just outside the main gates.

Entrance Coordinates. Use the following TomTom command to mark the exact entrance location in Revendreth:

/way #1525 78.3 49.1 Halls of Atonement Entrance

Halls of Atonement Mythic+ Resume

Halls of Atonement returns from the Shadowlands to loom over the Season 3 rotation, bringing the gothic grandeur of Revendreth back to the forefront. This dungeon is a sprawling cathedral of sin and anima, inhabited by the Venthyr and their stone constructs. It is widely beloved by tanks for its wide corridors and high enemy density, which encourage aggressive routing and massive "chain pulls." However, beneath the fun of big AoE numbers lies a deadly ecosystem of casters and gargoyles that can dismantle a group instantly if interrupts are neglected.

  • Length & Pacing: Medium & High-Octane. The layout is technically linear, but the open nature of the courtyards allows for significant freedom in pull sizing. It is a "momentum" dungeon; if you can control the initial packs and utilize the Loyal Stoneborn buffs efficiently, you can snowball through the timer. If you wipe, the long run-backs are punishing.
  • Difficulty Level: Medium (Tank Buster). While mechanically simpler than TWW dungeons, the raw Physical and Shadow damage input is immense. The trash mobs here — specifically the Depraved Houndmasters and their Vicious Gargons, and Depraved Obliterators — hit tanks harder than most bosses. It is a dungeon that tests a tank's mitigation uptime and a healer's ability to spot-heal through burst damage.
  • Strategic Focus: Interrupts & Curse Management. The instance is filled with dangerous casters. Missing a kick on a Wicked Bolt or Volley of Power is often fatal on high keys. Furthermore, the presence of Curse of Stone (which stuns players if not dispelled/managed) makes Druids, Mages, and Shamans invaluable assets for keeping the group mobile.

To survive the Halls of Atonement, you must embrace the Venthyr philosophy: power requires sacrifice. Success depends on leveraging the dungeon's unique mechanics — specifically charming the Loyal Stoneborn to decimate trash packs — and managing the lethal projectiles of the High Adjudicator's minions. It is a dungeon of high risks and high rewards, where hesitation is the only true sin. Prepare your interrupts and step into the shadows.
