The Brawler’s Guild has officially reopened its doors in Patch 11.2.7, inviting players back into the smoky depths of Bizmo’s Brawlpub and the Brawl’gar Arena. Bringing a fresh roster of punishing bosses, updated combat mechanics, and a mix of nostalgic chaos, this event revitalizes one of Azeroth's most intense solo challenges. Whether you are a veteran looking to reclaim your Rank 8 title or a newcomer stepping into the ring for the first time, the return of the Guild offers a brutal test of skill distinct from the usual endgame grind.
This season brings more than just new enemies; it introduces complex new interactions and a revamped progression system that keeps the fights feeling fresh. Below, we’ll guide you through the entire event, breaking down every boss mechanic, explaining the unique features of the updated queuing and betting systems, and showcasing the exclusive rewards waiting for the victors. Get ready for a complete deep dive into everything you need to know to conquer the Brawler's Guild!
The Brawler’s Guild runs in two separate venues, depending on your faction. Alliance fighters head to Bizmo Brawlpub Bouncer, tucked away on the basement level of the Deeprun Tram on the Stormwind side. Horde brawlers, on the other hand, step into the Brawlgar Arena in Orgrimmar, located in the Valley of Honor.
To queue for a fight, talk to Bizmo Brawlpub Bouncer or a Brawlgar Arena Grunt and select the option to enter the queue. The Brawler’s Guild is a solo challenge, but the arena space is shared with everyone lining up, so you’ll be placed into a queue system with other players. You can track your place by watching for the Queued for Brawl effect on your character, or by checking the UI tracker at the top of your screen.
One more rule that matters: with a few exceptions, Brawler’s Guild fights have a 2-minute Enrage. When the timer hits, the arena starts filling with fire, and if you’re still in there it will kill you after a few seconds. In practice, that means you’re not just trying to win — you’re trying to win fast.
Once you’ve received an invitation and been accepted into the Brawler’s Guild, you can head straight to either Bizmo Brawlpub Bouncer or Brawlgar Arena Grunt to start throwing hands.
There are a few different ways to take on Brawler’s Guild fights, depending on what you want: steady progression, old favorites, pure chaos, or extra difficulty for the flex.
Brawler’s Gold is a special currency used inside the Brawler’s Guild to buy interactive items that affect not just you, but everyone fighting or spectating in the arena. These purchases lean more toward fun, chaos, and social interaction than raw power.
You can earn Brawler’s Gold in three different ways, depending on how active you want to be:
Brawler’s Gold can be spent at the Gold Exchange vendors found near the other Brawler’s Guild merchants. Alliance players should visit Ulaani, while Horde players can buy items from Tiana Nevermorn. All prices below are listed in Brawler’s Gold:
| Item | Price | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Bag of Chipped Dice (Alliance) | 100 | Allows you to queue for random brawls for 30 minutes, pulling from a pool of Brawler’s Guild enemies. Required to earn the I Am Thrall’s Complete Lack Of Surprise achievement. |
| Bag of Chipped Dice (Horde) | 100 | Allows you to queue for random brawls for 30 minutes, pulling from a pool of Brawler’s Guild enemies. Required to earn the I Am Thrall’s Complete Lack Of Surprise achievement. |
| Brawler’s Potion Dispenser | 500 | Creates an item that hands out free potions to other Brawler’s Guild players nearby. |
| Free Drinks Voucher (Alliance) | 1.000 | Gives everyone in the area free drinks at the bar for 2 minutes. |
| Free Drinks Voucher (Horde) | 1.000 | Gives everyone in the area free drinks at the bar for 2 minutes. |
| VIP Room Rental Form (Alliance) | 1.000 | Grants access to the VIP room for 10 minutes. This area is normally restricted to players who reached the highest Brawler’s Guild rank and offers an elevated viewing angle over the arena. |
| Zeppelin Rental Form (Horde) | 1.000 | Gives everyone free Zeppelin rides over the arena for 10 minutes. Normally reserved for players at the highest Brawler’s Guild rank, this is purely a visual perk for better spectating. |
Broker Challenges (New from Patch 11.2.7) are a fresh way to re-experience the Brawler’s Guild with the gloves off. Instead of changing the boss, you bolt an affix onto the fight itself — turning familiar encounters into something sharper, messier, and much harder to autopilot.
There are eight affixes in total. Win a brawl with any one of them active and you’ll earn its associated achievement; complete the full set and you’ll unlock the Brawl Star achievement, along with the "Brawl Star" title.
To enable an affix, speak with Challenge Broker Senna (Alliance) or Challenge Broker Guo (Horde), then pick the challenge you want to add before you queue. Here’s the full list of Broker Challenge affixes and what each one does:
| Challenge | Description | Achievement |
| Arm the audience with foul fruit! | Fruit gets thrown at you during the fight. Getting hit knocks you up, but it deals no damage — the real test is staying clean and dodging every toss. | Audience Participation |
| Please freeze the arena! | The arena floor turns to ice, making movement slippery and less precise. | Brawler's Chilled |
| Make me giant! | You grow to an enormous size. While you’re huge, your movement speed is reduced and your hitbox becomes much larger, making it harder to sidestep mechanics. | Brawzilla |
| Literally set me on fire! | You constantly run forward while leaving fire patches behind. You can still cast while moving, and your own fire won’t hurt you — but it will reshape the space you’re fighting in. | Hot Footed |
| I can win without a scratch! | You begin the fight protected by a shield that shatters the moment you take any damage. To earn the achievement, you must win while keeping the shield intact. | Let Me Solo It |
| Fill the arena with sticky molten tar! | The arena floods with sticky tar that slows your movement. Periodically, sections of the floor erupt into flames — standing in those blasts deals heavy damage. | A Prime Ordeal |
| Make me as light as a feather! | Any damage you take knocks you back. | Featherweight Brawler |
| I can win with just my bare hands! | You fight without a weapon, but your melee attack speed is increased by 200%. | Bare Knuckle Brawl |
Every victory in the Brawler’s Guild comes with tangible rewards. Each time you win a fight, you receive a Brawler’s Purse, which contains a junk-quality item you can sell for gold, along with roughly 100 Brawler’s Gold. This special currency is used to purchase small buffs for yourself and nearby players, helping smooth out future brawls.
Beyond these repeatable rewards, the Brawler’s Guild also offers a selection of unique and returning items. These can be purchased from Dershway the Triggered for Alliance players, or “Bad Luck” Symes for Horde players. If the quartermaster is not available to you yet, you’ll need to complete the first quest in the Brawler’s Guild questline, which unlocks after winning your first brawl.
| Item | Type | Rank | Cost |
| Brawler’s Barricade | Housing Decor | Rank 2 | 500 Gold |
| Tylarr Gronnden | Battle Pet | Rank 3 | 500 Gold |
| Clock’em | Battle Pet | Rank 3 | 500 Gold |
| Pugilist’s Powerful Punching Ring (Alliance) | Ring + Teleport | Rank 4 | 2.000 Gold |
| Pugilist’s Powerful Punching Ring (Horde) | Ring + Teleport | Rank 4 | 2.000 Gold |
| Brawler’s Guild Punching Bag | Housing Decor | Rank 5 | 4.000 Gold |
| Brawler’s Guild Tabard | Tabard | Rank 5 | 3.000 Gold |
| Brawlin’ Bruno | Mount | Rank 6 | 4.000 Gold |
| Champion Brawler’s Gloves | Housing Decor | Rank 7 | 8.000 Gold |
| Brawler's Razor Claws | Heirloom Fist Weapon | Rank 8 | 1.000 Gold |
| Ensemble: Brawler’s Garb | Transmog | Rank 8 | 10.000 Gold |
| Ballistic Bronco | Mount | Rank 8 | 10.000 Gold |
Once you reach Rank 4, you’ll also receive a Brawler’s Pass (Alliance or Horde) by mail. This pass can be sold on the auction house or traded to another player, making it one of the more flexible rewards tied to your climb through the guild.
The following achievements can be earned by participating in the Brawler's Guild. Some are tied directly to boss progression, others reward optional challenges, crowd interaction, or the special random brawl mode:
The Best There Is focuses on optional content rather than full completion. To earn it, you must defeat 15 out of the 24 available challenge card bosses. This allows some flexibility, as not every challenge boss is required.
Brawl Star is one of the more demanding achievements. It requires defeating all eight of the broker's challenges. Each challenge adds an additional affix to the fight, stacking extra mechanics and significantly increasing difficulty.
You Are Not The Contents Of Your Wallet is a pure gold sink achievement. You must obtain a total of 20.000 gold, encouraging long-term participation in gold-making activities rather than direct combat performance.
I Am Thrall's Complete Lack Of Surprise is tied to the random brawl system. You must defeat 10 bosses using random brawls. To access this mode, you can purchase a Bag of Chipped Dice from Ulaani or Tiana Nevermoor for 100 Brawler’s Gold. Using the bag allows you to queue for random brawls for 30 minutes, drawing from a pool of Brawler's Guild enemies. While the buff is active, other players can also queue for random brawls through the same Brawler guard.
Challenge Cards let you replay older Brawler’s Guild fights on demand: you buy a card for a specific encounter for 3 gold, then choose the boss you want to throw down with from Card Trader Ami.
When you’re ready to queue, speak to Bizmo Brawlpub Bouncer or the Brawlgar Arena Grunt and select the dialogue option "I want to use my challenge card!" to load that exact fight. In this version of the Brawler’s Guild, Challenge Cards only become available after you reach Rank 8 with the guild.
