Enchanting is a great profession because enchants are always in demand throughout the expansion. Every time a player receives a new set of gear that replaces their current, they also need to buy another enchant to re-enchant that brand new piece of gear. There are multiple enchants that are specifically used for profession tools to help other players who enjoy professions. Enchanters have a wide variety of new cosmetic illusions that they can craft for players who want to customize the look of their weapons or armor pieces. Enchanting profession leveling is hard and can take a lot of your time, but very useful in any part of the game. Enchanting has four Specializations:

• Supplementary Shattering - focuses on improving the fundamentals of Enchanting. Enchanters will receive the ability to Shatter Essence and earn a temporary buff that boosts their Secondary Skills - Ingenuity, Resourcefulness, and Multicraft - for all Enchanting crafts.
• Designated Disenchanter - does not grant any bonuses for crafting. Instead, this Specialization focuses on disenchanting Uncommon, Rare, and Epic quality items. Enchanters will earn the ability to get higher quality reagents and additional bonus materials when disenchanting items.
• Everlasting Enchantments - focuses on all of your Enchantment needs. Whether you decide to craft Profession Tool Enchantments, Chest Enchantments, Weapon Enchantments, or a combination of all, you will want to allocate your Knowledge Points primarily in this tree.
• Ephemerals, Enrichments, and Equipment - items that do not fall under the Enchantment category will benefit from this tree. This includes Mana Oils, Reagents, Wands, Profession Tools, and Cosmetic items..

Tailoring. One of the main skills of Enchanting is Disenchanting, which allows you to destroy gear that you have no use for in order to gather your crafting materials. This means that there is no gathering profession that is typically paired with other crafting professions. You obvious choice of second profession should be Tailoring in order to create a lot of disenchantable gear. Otherwise, you would need to spend gold and purchasing uncommon and rare gear from Auction House.
