Dream Infusions are obtained from a hidden resource called Dream Energy, collected by completing activities in the Emerald Dream, such as completing quests, killing rares, and finishing events in the zone. You can check with Elianna how much Dream Energy you currently have gathered.
You will first meet Elianna at the Central Encampment in the Emerald Dream after reaching Renown 5 with the Dream Wardens in the quest Emerald Reawakening. After completing this questline, you can start infusing creatures with Dream Infusion.
After you fill in a Dream Energy bar, you can return to Elianna to obtain a Dream Infusion and start the process again. You can purchase dream-infused pets and mounts from Elianna with Dream Infusion, but there is a catch! You must have a similar pet or mount with the same model for you to be able to infuse them (and obtain a new pet/mount).
Dream Energy is a hidden resource in the currency tab and not mentioned in the chat log when gathered. The only way to learn about this resource is Elianna Dream Infusion tutorial, unlocked account-wide by the In Touch With Nature perk when reaching Renown 5 with the Dream Wardens.
The currency is capped at 7000, and whenever you gather enough Dream Energy to reach that, the Dream Infusion quest becomes available on Elianna, rewards one Dream Infusion, and resets your Dream Energy on completion. When you gather enough energy to be capped again on the same day, you won't see this quest until the next day and get stuck on energy gains until then. You can get from 2 to 1000 Dream Energy for different activities, and with that 7000 cap, you want to avoid wasting bigger numbers when you are already capped or close to the cap.
To purchase dream-infused pets and mounts from Elianna, you must already possess a similar pet or mount with the same model. Ensure you've unlocked the required pet or mount before infusing them and obtaining a brand-new collectible.
