WotLK added many new cool mounts to the game. There are new models, new skins, and new types of mounts. With flying mounts introduced in TBC, the rarest and most prestigious flying mounts were added in WotLK. Undoubtedly, many mounts could be bought or gained after reaching an Exalted reputation with specific factions. But the most interesting and rare WotLK mounts could be obtained only by long and hardcore farm in PvE and PvP. In WotLK, you don't need to keep all of them in your inventory. You can add them to your collection. This is good news for any collectors, especially those who are ready to spend their time and get the WotLK Mountain o’ Mounts achievement. However, this will not be a simple task as most mounts require you to invest a lot of time.
Because of the tedious and long farm, not many players collect even half of the WotLK mount in the old days. But now, with WotLK Classic, you have a chance to collect all rare and prestigious WotLK mounts! But why waste any of your free time on this when you could buy our WotLK Mounts Boost and get any mount fast and easy!
Rise right into the skies of Northrend on your new mounts! In WotLK expansion, there are even more mounts than in WoW Classic and TBC combined. You will need to learn the special WotLK skill Cold Weather Flying that grants the ability to use a flying mount (epic or non-epic) or Druid flight form in Northrend, if you know at least Expert Riding or Flight Form. Flying skills trained could be found in Krasus Landing Port in WotLK Dalaran. After you buy Cold Weather Flying skills, you can fly in new WotLK zones. You could purchase standard flying mounts, but you and many other players want to fly with style on rare and prestigious mounts. To get this mount, you will need to spend much of your time on the endless farm.
With a large amount of new content in WotLK, the time you need to spend on mount farm has increased exponentially. That's why only a tiny percentage of players have, if not all, the mounts, but at least most of them, especially those that are the most difficult to obtain, the rarest of the rare. But with our WotLK Mounts Carry, you don't have to worry because you can get into this small percentage of players with the rarest mounts in the game.
There are many new raids and dungeons in WotLK, and many of them, in one way or another, connected with the main theme of the expansion that is fall of the The Lich King.
You could get a lot of rare and prestigeous mounts in WotLK PvE segment of the game. Invincible's Reins dropped from WotLK, The Lich King boss in the Icecrown Citadel raid, with a 100% drop rate only on 25 Heroic difficulty. Farming Invincible's Reins on your own may be a very long, repetitive, tedious task because defeating The Lich King on 25 Heroic difficulty is not easy; you will need a group of highly skilled PvE players that know what and how to do to kill this boss. Mimiron's Head dropped in Ulduar 25 raid from Yogg-Saron with 100% drop rate, only if Yogg-Saron hard mode activated.
Another good example of rare WotLK mounts are Reins of the Azure Drake and Reins of the Onyxian Drake pair of drakes, which you could obtain from The Eye of Eternity and Onyxia's Lair raids.
As for WotLK dungeons, you could obtain Reins of the Blue Proto-Drake from Skadi the Ruthless with 0.9% drop chance and Reins of the Bronze Drake for completing time-run of The Culling of Stratholme that is not as easy as it sounds!
There are many PvP mounts in the game, but to get them you will need to farm for a long time, participating in various battlegrounds, arena and open-world PvP. For example, for completing For the Horde! / For the Alliance! WotLK PvP achievement you could obtain cool Reins of the Black War Bear mount. Most PvP mounts could be purchase for 50,000 Honor Points, such as Red Skeletal Warhorse, Reins of the Black War Elekk, Black War Ram, Horn of the Frostwolf Howler and many more.
Wintergrasp is WotLK colossal PvP zone that you could conquer in honor of your faction and get access to WotLK Archavon Vault raid. Also, you can farm WotLK Stone Keeper's Shard currency to buy WotLK PvP gear and Reins of the Black War Mammoth rare mount. In you interested in other aspects of WotLK PvP segment of the game, you should check our WotLK PvP Boost.
Reins of the Time-Lost Proto-Drake is one of the signature WotLK mounts. This mount drops from a rare Time-Lost Proto-Drake NPC that spawns absolutely unpredictably in Storm Peaks zone every few hours. You will need to camp it for hours and hours flying from one to another spawn zones.
There are many cool quests in WotLK, but some of them are truly epic journey with worthy rewards. The Sacred and the Corrupt is good example of long and hard quest chain that could take month to complete it. After you complete it you could obtain Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger mount as well as legendary Shadowmourne.
In some WotLK quests you need not only to complete quests but also obtain special items. For example, after you could get Mysterious Egg container you need to wait for 3 days of real time before, with random chance, Reins of the Green Proto-Drake would hatch from it.
Another good example of pretty rare quest mount is Reins of the White Polar Bear that could be obtained from Hyldnir Spoils container with low chance, farming it requires completing daily quests in Storm Peaks zone.
There are a lot of factions that you should farm reputation with, and some of them could give you access to obtain some pretty cool mounts!
In addition to your journey on The Argent Tournament grounds you could obtain mount from The Silver Covenant / The Sunreavers faction. To do so, you need not only to farm Champion's Seal but also to hit Exalted reputation with these factions. After you have done all of these boring activities, you could obtain Quel'dorei Steed / Sunreaver Hawkstrider mounts and Silver Covenant Hippogryph / Sunreaver Dragonhawk flying mounts.
Hitting Exalted with The Sons of Hodir will give you access to obtaining cool Reins of the Grand Ice Mammoth that could carry 2 additional passengers with you on board, and for Revered status you could obtain WotLK Reins of the Ice Mammoth mount.
If you get Exalted status reputation with The Wyrmrest Accord you could obtain Reins of the Red Drake
Most of WotLK rare mounts are obtained through raids and dungeons. Some mounts could be obtained with a low drop chance; others are guaranteed drop, but to get them, you must farm hard and defeat the most challenging WotLK raid bosses on the hardest difficulty. Hurry to obtain Crusader's White Warhorse / Crusader's Black Warhorse for A Tribute to Immortality FoS achievement before it will be removed from the game when WotLK Classic ends.
Almost every WotLK World Event could bring you one or even more cool and rare mount. Most of them have lower than 1% drop chance, so you need to farm hard in strictly limited time to get one.
For example, during Hallow's End you could get The Horseman's Reins mount with 0.3% from Headless Horseman event boss. During Brewfest you could get Great Brewfest Kodo mount with 2% from Great Brewfest Kodo event boss.
Glorious Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake is a reward for completing hardcore WotLK What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been achievement. This meta-achievement will require titanic stubbornness from you since each holiday event achievement can be earned only once a year, which means that to earn them all, you need to participate in all holiday-type events. There are few players in WoW with this meta-achievement since most don't have enough patience to complete all the conditions for completing this meta-achievement. However, with our WotLK Event Mounts Boost, you will be able to enter in the low percentage of those players who have What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been achievement!
The Argent Tournament is a WotLK permanent event that could provide you with many rewards, including many cool mounts! You need to farm yourself mad to do so because much farming is waiting for you on the tournament grounds! Boring and repetitive grind, long quest chains, repetitive daily quests, mob farm, and so on. What do you have to do to obtain mounts? Well, it’s simple. You need to become the Champion of your faction's race. By becoming the champion of one race, you can become the champion of all the others, and only this way get all the racial-faction Argent Tournament mounts. You also need to farm WotLK Champion's Seal event currency during your grind for championship to buy Argent Tournament mounts. For example, as Horde player you could obtain Darkspear Raptor only after you have become Exalted Champion of Sen'jin and if you roll with the Alliance, you could obtain Ironforge Ram after you become Exalted Champion of Ironforge.
Don't we forget something? Ah yes, how could we! You could obtain this little and cute Sea Turtle from any fishing pool in Northrend with extremely low chance! This mount cannot move very quickly on land, but she is a great swimmer.
If you have problems with your fishing skill or fishing it not your cup of tea, you should check our WotLK Profession Mounts carry and we'll gladly help you!
Like with WotLK mounts, The Burning Crusade mounts collecting is time-consuming and sometimes deadly boring. Not only do you need to farm PvE and PvP activities for rare and unique mounts like crazy, but also you need to farm reputation, which could take even more of your time because reputation farming in TBC is something that not many players want to remember.
Most Burning Crusade mounts have one of the lowest drop chances in TBC raids or dungeons such as Ashes of Al'ar, Fiery Warhorse's Reins and Reins of the Raven Lord. Such TBC mounts like Reins of the Silver War Talbuk and Reins of the Violet Netherwing Drake in various color schemes could be obtained via reputation grind with different TBC factions.
As you know, the mount collection business is not only serious but also time-consuming. You could buy a lot of WoW Classic mounts from particular vendors, but epic, unique, and truly rare of them are obtained only with PvE or PvP activities farm that could last for weeks or even months! Most WoW Classic mounts have a low drop chance in raids or dungeons and other challenging conditions for obtaining them. In addition, some of these mounts could become unobtainable after WotLK Classic ends, such as Deathcharger's Reins, Swift Razzashi Raptor and Swift Zulian Tiger. In WotLK class mounts such as Charger and Dreadsteed would require spending much of your time on long, tedious quest chains.
